Stampavie : Happy Birthday

08:33 2 Comments
Good Morning!
It is another brand new day and i am so glad you are back here, because it means you are enjoying what i am sharing here. Thank you so much for your constant visit.
I had a blast when making this card. I have used another adorable image from Stampavie. The feeling using old stuffs really makes me happy somehow. In here, I use many scrap pattern papers, old but new flowers and dies, some old but favourite dies from La la land craft and spellbinders.

I colored the image with zig markers and added lots of white dots on the image to brighten the solid area.

Crafty Ribbon : Ribbon Or Lace
Addicted to stamp : Anything goes
Wonderful Wednesday : Always Anything goes
As you like it challenge : Old stuffs. Somehow when i play with old stuffs , it bring back memories and i feel satisfy for able to bring back the old stamp to live and not following the main stream where everyone "rush" to buy and use new stamps.
Noor Design : CAS or fully loaded

Hoping to see you again very soon :)
I still have plenty card to share with you.

Have a lovely day everyone

Good Morning!

I am Glad that you are here with me because i made another card  which i am sure it will brighten your day.

Here i am playing with my Old stamp stampavie again, so sorry this item is discontinue long time ago.  Yesterday. i browsed through  and I looked back about 4-5 years my old stampavie cards in this blog. I am so glad that my coloring skill keep improving each year.
Back then my colouring for this stamp was totally plain. Now i feel this stamp back to alive with bright colours. ^_^

I colored the image with Zig clean color real brush. Added few tiny details around the image use liquid pearl. I have not venture at Nuovo brand because too scared i will get addicted and want to purchase more. I am aiming to make use most of my liquid pearl before i move on to the new product :).

And here is the inside card. I added mama elephant mouse stamp to decorate the inside card :).

Stampavie : Happy Bday

13:24 4 Comments
Hello!
Here i am again back with new card. No more Christmas card for now.
I stop the production and now moving on with non festive card. I am running out of time and i still has to make more cards for the bazaar. Times goes fast and i am getting slow in making card...Panic time!
Nevertheless I  am grateful that today i manage to create at least a card. Hope to have more cards to create today. But for now, here is today's card it is bright and fun Birthday card.

For the main image, i used discontinued stampavie stamp. It is cute but sadly hard to find anymore because Stampavie no longer in production.
I colored the main image with zig clean color brush markers and distress markers. Don't ask me what colours i used here because i forgot about it. I colored it last month when there is 30 days daily marker color challenge.

2 new dies i used today. the banner Happy Bday from La la land craft and present shape die cut from Magnolia.

I do hope you like what i share today.
Rush to make more cards now :)
See you soon!

Stampavie : Seasons Greetings

18:03 7 Comments
Hello!!! Hoping everyone doing well!
I am down with bad flu for two weeks and still counting, especially with the bad weather like today in Singapore. Bad air quality from Haze has cause me worsen my flu and overall health. I am hoping to get well soon before i head back to my hometown next week.

Anyway, i have a brand new card today!! I think this probably my third christmas card i created this year and this would not be the last. I am trying to create as many as christmas cards this year. I am planning to sell some of them and some to give to friends and family. I want to learn to create a simple but cute christmas card so that it is easy for me or my buyer to send. But for today, a little bit layering on the card because that is my style :).

If you are my instagram follower, you should have seen this image before. I colored it during 30 days the daily markers. This stamp from discontinued stampavie penny johnson. The image very versatile, you can use it always for all seasons.

I colored the main image with distress markers and zig markers on 300gsm watercolor papers. Cut the oval shape use spellbinder dies. The beautiful flowers from very old Prima Marketing collections.

I love to add lots of little details on the card because i want every recipient, not see it just a second but many seconds :). Recently i love to add white dots on my main image to give a little bit of contrast and also give a bit of extra detail on it.
For the sentiment seasons greetings, i used Simon says stamp dies and cut it on silver cardstock. I also poured some coarse clear glitter on the oval edges, because i am all about blings and layers :).

And here is the inside card. I keep it simple because i want it stay flat and enough space to write message :).

Entering this card for the following challenges :
As you like it challenge : I like Square shape card because it is basic and i have more space to play around than shaped card. Also i can fit the size the to standard envelope easily.
Southern Girl : Anything goes
Addicted to stamp : Holiday
Crafting by design : Get ready for Christmas
Simon says stamp challenge : It is hip to be square

See you very soon!!

Stampavie : Alter Alpha

16:46 0 Comments
Good evening everyone!
Hope you enjoy your saturday.

I have such a lovely day here in Singapore. It is cooling and a little bit rainy here which kind of weather i prefer than sunny :).
So here is my latest creations and i think this will be the last batch of alter alpha i created for my friend.
This alpha will be a gift for her son who loves arsenal football club. I asked my husband who also a fan of arsenal, what should i do with her request.
He said made something with white red and a bit of black and of course a guy/boy who is playing football.
So i dig out my stamps and found this stampavie stamp and i decided this image would be the perfect one.

i colored the image with distress markers and tombow dual brush pens.
The background pattern paper from echo park which i am so happy that it fit perfectly to the theme.

And i used thickers papermarket special edition for her son name :)

I hope you like this simple project and i will see you very soon :)

Hellow Sweets! How are you doing? I am pretty stress out with my monthly period...so i have to spend my entire weekend at home..:(. Well..the good thing when i spend time at home means i get chance to crafting (got to ignore the stomach pain) :)

For me Green means christmas :P.  so This indeed a challenge. So i dig up all my green colour papers and couldnt find anything that i have in mind till i see this cutie October Afternoon Polkadots. :) Got to play with it! So instead of going on with green only i decided to add Yellow pp and ledger pattern paper from October Afternoon Boarding Pass paper pad which exteremely goes well with it .

  So here is the card
I used stampavie stamp for the main image which i coloured use derwen inktense colour pencils.
As for the sentiment i used hero arts clear stamp sentiment.

Another view from the card:

Especially For You...

21:31 11 Comments
Hi Peeps...thanks for the great comments that you left on my previous post :) i am so happy to see it.
So for today...I have a photo as a proof that i do struggle when it comes colouring image.
Here is the photo :
To colour one image, sometimes i need to colour few times to get the correct shade. I dont like obvious stroke/patch shown on the image.so that i keep trying many times till i satisfied. By the way the images on top are coloured with Tombow. I really still cant get the correct paper to use with my tombow markers, though i use watercolour paper..the result still isnt really good. it dry very fast. So that out of desperation, i decided to colour the 6th image use crayons, and here is the result :)

I love the colour so much! It looks so soft and natural :) I am trully satisfied with this result :)

and here is the inside page. Just a little bit of decoration to make it look nicer :)

Paper : Girls Paperie,American Craft. Image : Stampavie and Hero arts.

That is it from me today.
Hope to hear some comments good or critics will be appreciated :)

Father's day card-JDA Challenge

22:12 2 Comments
Finally i managed to create a card for Junior de artist shop! they have speciall challenge that i found it the most challenging ever!!!First, i dont do manly card normally, second I have lost my mojo recently, third, i dont really do distress-rustic looking, Fourth, i dont really do blue colour card,  lastly the shop required use to use DCWV paper only!!! T_T
So in summary i took me 5 days to create a card for this challenge T_T. But i am quite happy with the result as i put a lot of things and did few techniques on it.

This is 2 sided card (i dont have 12" x 12" DCWV cardstock or PP so i just use whatever 8"x8" pattern paper that i have on hand). But this card all of the paper comes from the same series. It is DCWV Retro series.

So here is the card.

THIS IS FRONT PAGE OF THE CARD
Paper use :DCWV-Retro series;distress inks- peeled paint, scattered straw, frayed burlap;Crayons-creta colour, Inks- Versafine-onyx black, Satin red, spanish moss, Stickles, clear embossing powder,bo bunny ribbons, maya road tag, martha stewart puncher, canvas paper-prima marketing, jillibean stamp, stampavie stamp-mo manning-soaking up the joy; adornit stickers, buttons, string, brads-tim holtz;heart shape puncher,ek success circle puncher.

Details 1:
Canvas paper are distress by peeled paint and scattered straw. The way i distress is straight away pad the canvas to the inks so that it will create a strong line from the distress inks square pad shape.
For the heart shape-i punched heart shaped few times on DCWV paper (i think about 10 pcs). Glue it together so that create some dimension.

Details 2:
Stamp that i use is from Jillibean brand-Top ten.
Firstly i stamped the image on the transparancy use versafine ink-spanish moss and quickly i poured clear embossing powder and heat it. I also stamp several images (numbers) on the pattern paper and emboss it with clear embossing powder. Once all done, i stamped the notes image use versamark on the pattern paper- just to get guidance to write the sentiments. Once finish, i stick the transparancy on the pattern paper.

Detail 3:
I love this little lady expression. For me it is suitable for fathers day because the little lady look like lookip up to the father and happily said HAPPY FATHERS DAY! (like a little daughter). I stamped the little lady with versafine and emboss it with clear embossing powder. Follow with coloured it use cretacolour crayons. For the background i distress used peeled paint and scattered straw.Applied a little bit stickles for her skirt-star dust.

Detail 4:
both black bo bunny ribbon-solid and translucent are tied together. place the button with the string in the middle.

Detail 5:
Placed some alphas stickers from adornit. Once done,i applied versamark embossing pad to the whole tag and emboss it with clear embossing powder. The reason is to seal up the sticker,as this is pull out tag, the sticker may peel off.

THIS IS THE BACK PAGE OF THE CARD
Paper-DCWV Retro,Black leave-daiso, string, scattered straw distress inks, hero arts stamp-owl,adornit stickers, stickles,buttons,crafty secret stamp-a little notes,spellbinder.

Details 1:
Cut paper use Spellbinder circle puncher, distress it with scattered straw, place several buttons on the left and right

Detail 2:
Cut two pcs of pattern paper, distress it with scattered straw. Tied string with the criss cross pattern, at the end tied ribbon shape and place button on top of it.

Stamped owl on the transparancy use staz on. Apply stickles on the back of the image.

THIS IS THE VIEW OF THE SIDE
This part is the hardest ever! As i mentioned earlier, the card is 2 sided, so that i have to make sure it will be able to stand. So I have tried my best to create "legs" to hold the card. The legs are punched from pattern paper use fiskar puncher heart shape. Before i punch the paper, i fold it into 2 so that can be open left and right. It is also create butterfly look like. I punched  hole on the folded heartshape use cropadile.attach leaves and the paper with tim holtz brads.
Oh my..hopefully it will stay stand! as the card pretty heavy!
Wish me luck

Thank you for looking
