# Penny Black

Purple mood!! penny black challenge week 101

Hi...i am actually in the midst of confussion between the urge to play with my rubber stamps and the frozen brain. My heart said..lets play with the new stamps that you bought few days a go...all of them looks so cute also you can enter the challenge..who knows you can win something..as well as make friend"..
On the other hand...my brain act.."i dont care...i dont want to think hard..i want to hibernate few days "
Anyway i will still enter this card for the Penny Black challenge...^_^
So since i have spare time...so i decided to follow my heart...and this is the result :

I dont quite like it....the main culprit is the cat background..it is too strong! T_T
Anyway this is the list of the items that i used to create this card :
American Craft cardstock-white; Kaiser Craft pattern papers; Penny Black Stamp-cat ; hero arts stamp-circle lace, Maya road- crown; Purple embossing puffs-ranger; cretacolour crayons; pebbles chalks; distress inks-spun sugar; stickles-stardust and purple; Ribbons : american craft; flower :prima marketing, wild orchid craft; versafine=onyx black and imperiall purple; pearls; judikins diamond glaze

Details 1 :
I stamped hero arts border lace with imperial purple ink and embossed it with embossing puff powder from ranger. Distress surround the lace with spun sugar distress inks. Affix pearls on the corner.
For the crown : i stamped crown stamp on the white cardstock  with imperiall purple inks. Applied stickles on it-stardust and purple.

Details 2:
I did layer several flowers to match the theme. The biggest flower with checkers pattern is given by my friend Ying.
Applied some stardust stickles and scattered some pearls around the flowers.

Details 3 :
"Layered several ribbons"

Details 4:
Image is stamped with versafine onyx black and coloured with cretacolour crayons. For finishing i applied chalks on the image to give a little bit shimmer on it-i dont think you can see it here ^_^.Cheeks also coloured use chalks.
I applied diamond glaze on every heart shape design on the bowtie.
Final step : applied stickles on the cats body.

One of the stamp that i use.

Thanks for looking
Regards,
Scrapco..

  1. I think the subdued background makes the kitty "pop" which is a good thing. :-) Don't worry, a ginger kitty can never be too bright. Its very sweet.
