Birthday Wishes

Hi Peeps..just a quick post :)
i have just wondering whether have you received the xmas cards that i sent to you? if you do..please let me know ya..:) just to make sure each of you received it :)
well as for today card...i have nothing much to say...but quite dissapointed with the result..:(
why am i dissapointed? i found that the image background looks so simple and i am totally dont know what to do with it as well as the colour from tilda clothes too bright. I have tried to find colour pencils that close to the pattern paper but still too bright :)

Hi Yenni! I think it came out nice! If you wanted to match the creamy color of the flowers on the paper with prismacolors I would suggest "Jasmine". That's pretty close. You could also do beige, light umber and dark umber (instead of Jasmine) to match the flowers youve attached to your card and those last three colors also work well for hair. Something to experiment with. I too have found it a challenge to "get yellow right". :-)
But your card is very pretty!

You do wonderful work! You are too hard on yourself. I think the colors look fine. You could darken her hair slightly and the other colors would blend in perfectly. But it looks fine the way it is! The back round papers are very pretty!
