Christmas card use LOTV James bear Pile of presents

10:45 2 Comments
Hello! and good morning...a really beautiful day but has a little draw back for me. Me and husband supposedly plan to go Universal Studio but due to unforeseen event I couldn't go.
Anyway..I hope he has some fun there with his friend.

So today I will be sharing another Christmas card use LOTV James bear Pile of presents
Isn't he so cute ? I coloured him use colour pencils and blend it with sansodor. It is really easy and surprisingly quick ^_^. I also added a little white dots to highlight the darkest point.

I did plenty die cutting in here which makes me happy. Give love to old stuffs again (My GILTOS terms is back). For the biggest snowflakes, I use my all time favourite Simon says stamp Eliza snowflakes and for the small one I used Martha Stewart puncher. The gold corner deco from MFT and the design behind the main image I used spellbinder dies.

Would love to enter this card for the

I hope you like what I shared today and most of all you are inspired.
Let me know what do you think ^_^

Christmas Card used LOTV James in the snow

17:38 2 Comments

Hello....My second post of the day :)
I have to change my plan slightly...I mentioned previously that I would be sharing some of my recent Christmas cards that I made next week. After I see the LOTV challenge blog, I decided ok  must start showing today because this month challenge is Christmas in August which is perfect for my cards. ^_^ Hoping to win the first prize ^_^ or any of the prize.

I have made a promise that this year I have to use most of my unused stamps from LOTV. So for the first batch I picked up few James bear from LOTV and colour them. I have managed to coloured 10 of them and now in the process to make it into card ^_^. I left with 3 more..yay!

So I will be sharing one of it today.
To be frank I haven't shopped for any Christmas embellishment for this year and I am hopping no need because I plan to wait till end of the year or early next year when shops start to do some clearing by giving a big discount..i would say that is the wise step.
So for this card, I am using my old pattern paper from echo park, I think it is 2011 series. still loving the classic and original colour for Christmas season.
I stamped James in the snow and coloured him with my colour pencils. Surprisingly I love how it is turn out. ^_^. I guess I am pretty good at colour pencils than other media.
Adding few dots used gel pens on the face and body to highlight the darker area.. I think I would say he looks good with all of those dots ^_^.

Since I will be making a lot of Christmas card with similar image, therefore I want to have a little fun with the card fold. ^_^

And here is a little close up of the James the bear.

Would love to enter this card for
LOTV Challenge- Christmas in august
Simon says stamp- anything goes

Hope you like my card today and will be back with another Christmas card soon. Thank you for stopping by.

08:00 0 Comments
oh yeah...I promise this would be my last teacher's day projects.
I have been making lots of stuffs for the teacher's day and kind of I have enough :) time to move on to Christmas cards. I will be sharing with you some of my Christmas cards with you probably next week.

So here are the items that I created lately...
Aren't they so adorable ? it is size is about 3.5" x3", perfect size if I don't write to many things. I used spellbinder dies which I believe is discontinued. Luckily I managed to get one set and this year is my first time I used them after I keep them in my box for at least 2-3 years. The teacher sentiments and the mini apples is from Papertreyink.

And I also decided to decorate the envelopes and they looks so perfect together ^_^
Hopefully whoever receive this card would be delighted.

Have a great day ahead.

Happy Graduation cards

10:24 0 Comments

Good morning!!! i made few graduations card. To be frank i rarely make this kind of card as i dont have friend that is going to graduate soon or just somehow hardly sellable but who knows! ^_^ stay positive right?.
i made this just because a customer was asking for a sample of graduation cards, therefore i made one for him/her. Sadly she/he decided to think again though she/he said very nice.It is okay ^_^..So i decided to revamp the card by changing the image from  owl to a coloured mimi stamp from penny black. Also revamp the lace ribbon to change to stars border.  I love how the both of them turn out. ^_^.

so here is the first card. been so long never really do colouring with copic, my fingers stiff but it is okay, i dont stress myself too much! :)

And here is the second card that i sent to her and revamped it. The sentiment happy from papertrey ink that i stamped use adirondack butterscotch and versafine spanish mosh. The word graduation from hero arts stamp. the lovely stars borders from Papertrey ink. My fav!!!

have a great day

I LOVE IT...So pretty...combination of sweet tone of pink, turquoise, yellow, brown and green. All looks prettily match. i really love MME pattern paper. the lady and the frame stamp are from PTI simply jane which come with its coordinating dies.

How wonderful it is if we could use itsy bitsy of the leftover project and make it into card ^_^.
I really couldnt resist to purchase MME paper pad again. Been absent on shopping most of scrapbooking supplies in Local scrapbook store because i just have too many stuffs in the room and it frustrate me. So far i could go up to  1.5 months. an achievement to me! :)
till yesterday i saw one of MME collections JUST SAYIN. it was released few weeks back but i keep try not to buy. while i was waiting for my husband in shopping mall yesterday, i decided to do a little tour in scrapbook store and i trully couldnt resist and grab one of small paper pad and few loose 12" square of pattern papers. ATCs for my friend ^_^

08:32 2 Comments
Hello ! thank you for visiting my previous post. ^_^
I am popping to share with you few of atcs that i made for my friend. I promise her that i would made one ATC last few months, then i completely forgot about it. Now i decided to pay my mistake by giving her 3 of my ATCs ^_^ so here it is...

i love each of them. :) working in a small space really challenge my craft brain but luckly i nailed it ^_^

So for the first one, i use plenty different type of washi tapes to cover the ATC card. Heat embossed with wow embossing powder the word amazing. Cut out a few word You from simon says dies and stick it together to create dimension. For the butterfly i cut out MME pattern paper use PTI butterfly dies. The 2 colours PTI felt also cut use PTI felt. Layer them together and paste it on top of the tread.

For the second card is pretty simple. i cut few stripe of borders use PTI dies on my scrap papers and layer it as shown. Stamp the word thinking of you from SS stamp.
The feather is made from soft clay ^_^ i use baking mold instead of crafting mold. it works!

And for the third ATC..lots of layers and dies used. butterfly, swirl and heart from PTI. circle from spellbinders. heart shape from ek success (puncher). layer them together use foam dots.

Hope you like what i made today and let me know what do you think about it ? i am not very good at ATC.  Thank you for stopping by. ^_^

Quick and easy card but yet pretty is a must ^_^

08:00 0 Comments
Hi Hi Hello...i am so happy to see you back here again.
Just finished my morning housework and get a chance to sit and do some blogging. A life of housewife isnt easy as i thought. there is always things to clear and clean up. it is like never ending journey! Luckly i have something to look forward each day which is crafting. I am super blessed lately with orders from my online shop at carousell. each i finished an order, another one come. Not much but i am happy that there are many people appreciate my works.
The journey also pretty challenging. Some customer just as sweet from beginning some are challenging. Many i have to cancel their order or the other way because of i or they cant do meet up at convinient time and place. Overall, i enjoy the journey of making cards.

So Today i have few simple cards that i made recently but i still love how it is turned out.
Since all scrapbook pattern papers is ALWAYS expensive in here..i cant resist to use every single inch or cm of it. Dont you feel satisfied too when you able to use the whole 6x6" paperpad into many cards ? i am on top of the world if i could see it is finished. I feel like making a trophy for myself over this..hehhehe..too much isnt ?

So here is my first card. I am using my old series of MME pattern papers. i fussy cut the flowers and glue it using glue dots. Sentiments stamps is from hero arts. Love this colour combo. MME is always be one of my favourite scrapbook pattern paper brand.

And here is the second one. slightly similar style.

And third one i do a little extra stamping here, because i ran out of pattern papers ^_^.
i used PTI stamps and dies from simply jeane collections. the sentiment from mama elephant.

Hope you like my card today and take a time to leave me a comment if do or just to let me know that you have been here :). I Love to read your lovely comments. Thank you for stopping by.

Teacher's day cards and bookmark

08:00 1 Comments

Woowee Friday is here! :) and i am pretty excited because on this sunday i will be teaching one of my friend daughter to make teacher's day card. I have never taught kids before but i am excited to give it a try. So i will be teaching how to make this 3 cards. Since she is only primary 1 so i have to make it as simple as i could but still have fun during the process.

As i dont have any teacher related card, i feel like "handicap" but luckly that my recent small PTI order come at the right time. So i had fun stampin them. i fall in love with apples stamps now, i cant stop playing with it. So i decided to make few bookmarks

Arent they just sooo adorable ? I HEART PTI products! they have still other collections for the teacher or school related. i never get tired of their stamps! but i can only buy it slowly as it is pretty pricey!

So here are the link to some of the products i used for this project

You are the best teacher

09:52 0 Comments

Good morning...today i am back again with another teacher's day card.
Though i know female teacher love pretty stuffs more, i think we still have to give some love to male teacher too. So today i made a very simple teachers day card that intended more for male teacher.
if i have son or daughter that in school, I think i would spoil rot them with lots of my handmade cards or such stuffs ^_^ . i love to make people happy. when they happy receive my cards, i am happier than them ^_^.

when i made this card, i was inspired by one of the sample card in the stretch you stamp 2 class. it is the one that play around with many alphas and highlight the message only in the middle. unfortunately i couldnt get any lighter colour that make the red pop. But that is okay..to me i am happy with this card because of the class i managed to use some of my unused alphas sets that i owned more that 2 years ^_^.

Hope you like my card today and take a time to leave me a comment if do or just to let me know that you have been here :) Love to read your lovely comments. Thank you for stopping by

We're rushing to say.....

10:52 8 Comments
Good morning..it is beautiful day in Singapore. early morning with a slight rain and now sunny day. it left a nice eathy soil and cool wind too that perfect to do a little crafting.
So today i have a really fun card to share. Last night i was looking through some of my lawn fawn stamps collection and i noticed that i have a lot of unused stamps. I have removed the packaging of the stamps and leave it just the stamp and the acetate. While pulling few of stamps then by accident i stacked this two stamp set : Into the woods and Blue skies. it happened that the hot air baloon design just right above the deer. Then yes! i got the perfect idea on what to do for my next card.

So i start to picked up more animals from stamps sets that facing the same direction. I picked Into the woods (deer), Plus one (crane), Critters on the farm ( chicken and piggy). All i did is masking the animals and stamped hot air baloon on the back of it. So it looks like those animals flying ^_^.

For the sentiments i used hero arts alpha stamps. Then i noticed for the We're i forgot to put another e.oh no!!! i was crafting and watching youtube...must be confused at that time....neh..i hope it is okay! ^_^

and here is the view from the side. Since this week lawnscaping challenge is about texture. I decided to cut out white felt using Spring flowers lawn fawn dies.

And here is the inside of the card. another combined stamps. I used Pa rum pa pum pum and On the mend lawn fawn stamp sets. Poor turtle and notti teddy ^_^. The green colour pattern paper also from lawn fawn. Oh my today i used a lot of my lawn fawn stuffs...happy!

I really had fun making this card and love how the ideas actually born from.

Sending some sunshine to some of my friends

13:45 5 Comments
Hello...what a beautiful saturday i have in here. After few days of rain and cloudy, finally sun shine very bright from early morning till now ^_^.

During the bad weather in the past few days, i am inspired to create a sunny look cards. I planned to send it to some of my friends in singapore with hope they would take care of themselves during this weather. Also hoping this card will cheer them up.
I feel that sunshine really boost my positive mood. During the rainny and cloudy weather, i feel so unenergetic and just want to hibernate which means sleep.

So here is one of the photos of my card. Since i do mass production, more or less they are the same design. For the clouds and the sun, i used lawn fawn dies Spring showers. i really love this dies, cute and the stitched part add some interest. Worth to invest. I added a smiley face using My cute stamps. As for the sunshine word i used maya road stamp and mama elephant sunshine ink pad. I also used Hero arts CL490 for the sentiment Wishing you a day full of.

My creative juice didnt end just on the card. So i decided to give it a face lift to my envelope too.
I used Wplus 9 Folk art floral with various inkpads such as mama elephant, american craft, versa craft, memento and hero arts.

And here are the 6 pcs of my fun and sunny cards.

I couldnt resist to take more picture of this bright cards ^_^.

Not so original summer colour cards ^_^

08:34 2 Comments
Hello Hello Hello.... happy thursday! Summer is almost over in here with a sign of almost daily rain in singapore . In here we only have 2 seasons - either scorching hot weather or cold and humid rainy weather. :P...people get sick easly in transation period like now. So those who stay in Singapore, please take care of your health okay ^_^

To celebrate end of  "summer" in Singapore, Today i have bright (in my definition) orange blue and gold card. I couldnt go for the neon or bright real summer colour, it is jus not my preference ^_^.
I really love a small touches of gold on the card, it seems "pop" the card and make it more interesting.
So here is my first card.

I like to add sewing pattern in my card  but since i dont have sewing machine so i have to manually hand stitch..hahha fingers exercise and i think it is okay since it is small portion :). The zig zag pattern was inpired from papertrey ink youtube and the velum idea from janna werner.
Hello sentiment is cut used Lawn Fawn dies

And second card with still using the same hint of colours  i have done pretty lots of stamping and die cutting, but it worth the effort since i have so much stamps and die cut ^_^.
The stamps and dies (rose) is from papertrey inks and for sentiment from kaiser craft.
For the butterfly dies from simon says, and scroll from MFT.

Layers card : Great Job!!

08:00 1 Comments
Hello Hello....
Thank you for coming back again \^_^/. i have a bright and cheery card to share today.
supposedly to be clean and simple card but still has few layers in it. Seriously i have been trying very hard to make it as simple as i could but... i could not resist to add something here and there ^_^. I guess the hardest part for me will be one layer card. though challenge for myself.

Loving this colour combo that goes well with the singapore weather now..very hot and sudden rain anytime soon. Yellow represent sun and blue represent rain. Orange represent my mood..semi angry because i need to bring up my laundry when it is sunny then bring down when it is rain. up and down so many times :P. also if it is rain i couldnt go for brisk walk..dying to loose weight because my legs aching due to extra 20kg weight in my body over few years. hmmpptt.....must loose weight ^_^.

I have cut few butterfly use pti dies and stitched the middle part. Since it is manually stitched, it doesnt look perfectly nice so i decided to wrap few round of tread in the middle of the butterfly and left some strand of thread on the back of the butterfly. Here is the look from the side.

Stretch your stamp 2 day 2 homework ^_^

08:00 3 Comments
Oh yeah....another fun class and video on Stretch your stamp 2 day 2. I love each of the creations but i love the most is the ombre design by Laura S, Jennifer and Joy Taylor.  I havent tried Joy and Jennifer technique though ^_^.

And here is my card for day 2 homework.
yay! Finally i get pretty proper white embossing powder. My hubby helped me to buy one from local shop. But i am still want to get hero arts white embossing powder or wow super bright ^_^. So i white embossed penny black stamp on white cardstock.
Anyway while looking for stash i found something that i thought it will be fun! sometimes treasure can be found under your nose. I found out one COOL embossing powder that i never known that i have it! it is called embossing tinsel (Bridal) from ranger.
I decided to give it a try by embossed the scallop circle and i love it so much! it is glittery with slight silver on it. it is really very elegant. So i made up my mind and heat embossed my Hero arts stamps (stripe)  on white card stock and use it as a border and punched heart shape on it. I also stamped another hero arts stamps on the butterfly die cut. I really dont know the series as i always store my stamps without the packaging.

For the ombre look i have used distress ink broken china, stampin up cool caribean, versa magic sea breeze and hero arts soft pool. As for the peach orange ombre for butterfly and hearts i used adirondack peach bellini.

And here is the side few from the card. Use tons of glue foam dots! ^_^
The sentiment is from Mama elephant.

Would love to enter this card for
Papertake weekly - anything goes

So that is it the card for today. Fun Class and i had fun while making this card, most of all i used more and more of my old stashs on this card.

Card for Stretch your stamp 2 day 1 homework ^_^

08:00 8 Comments

Hi Hello..Good morning!! have you heard about the stretch your stamp 2 class from Simon says stamp shop?  if you have not you better check it out. I am one of their participant (student) ^_^.
On monday i attended their first lessons and saw there are few videos on the first lesson. found each of the video is awesome!!! worth every cent you spend :). Very inspiring and easy to follow!

So inspired by the design team videos, i have decided to do my homework and come out with this card. I know i am late in "submitting" my homework but nevermind, i think the main thing is i have fun isnt?

For the today card, i have mixed few of the techniques and design shared in the video into one card.
I do not have stamps that the DT use in the video so i just use whatever i have in my stash.

For the background, i stamped hero arts background stamp and emboss it with white embossing powder on the watercolour paper. i have notice that my white embossing powder doesnt work as supposedly. It doesnt show white colour at all and more to cream colour, secondly i didnt stick well though i use new versamark. I guess my embossing powder expired :P...can this happen ^_^ ?
Since i do not have other white embossing powder so i went on with the project. Coloured the background with few distress inks. Cut it to smaller pcs (3cm x 3cm) and create window panel. I regret that i didnt put foam dots on the back some of the panel to create in and out look.  Maybe next time ^_^.

I made a mistake ! because of i never clear emboss the hot air balloon image and the ink bleed. But i use versafine! which supposedly waterproof? hmmm lesson learnt.
Anyway, i lovee lovee this hot air balloon stamp and dies from Lawn Fawn! a GILTOS (Give Love to Old Stash) item for today.

So this is the side view of the card. For the rain drop i use the negative part of the Hello sentiment from lawn fawn. ^_^ dont waste even the negative part.

Would love to enter this card for
Simon says stamp challenge blog- anything goes
Papertake weekly- anything goes
Stamp and create- anything goes

So that is it the card for today. Fun Class and i had fun while making this card, most of all i used my old stash on this card.

GILTOS : Thoughts of You sweetie

08:00 4 Comments

Oh Hello there...welcome back to my blog :). Hope you have a good rest last night.
Today i have something fun and lots of work on my card from embossing, die cutting, fussy cutting, watercolour and many more.
Before that i decided come out with my own term which i called GILTOS -GIve Love To Old Stash. I will be using this terms in my blog everytime i use my very old or untouched stash. I feel so happy when i created this card. So lets get started and see what is under GILTOS.

First and foremost is embossing powder. I have tons of colourful embossing powder but mostly i never use it. I just keep using white or clear as it is the easiest one. So today i Give some love my Zing embossing powder and use it on my sentiment from paper smooches ( Thoughts of you sweetie).

Second things is Stamp. If read my blog previously i always say i have lots of stamps. So i have stopped buying stamps for more than 1 month (i am so elated!) until yesterday there was a big sale in my local scrapbook store, so i decided to grab 3 stamps set. Well to me 3 stamps set after more than 1 month never shop is very good! ^_^. So let t see what is the old stash there. First is the coconut trees from stampendous. It supposedly come with the monkey below but i decided to cover it. Another items are my lawn fawn fox and speech bubble stamp and leaves Paper smooches stamp. Isnt that fox cute! though a little bit odd as fox doesnt goes to beaches.does he? :D

Third things is my scattered straw distress stickles to create sandy feel look :)

So here a little close up
I have cut few sunshine dies from lawn fawn on watercolour paper and coloured it with distress ink.
inks that i used are mustard seed, peel paint, worn lipstick, pumice stone, evergreen and dried marigold. The first 3 sunshines i stacked it based on the original size. The next 2 sunshines i have trimmed the rays slightly smaller and lastly one will be trimmer pretty short just slightly longer than the brads.

Would love to enter this card for the following challenge :
Simon says stamp- anything goes
7 kids challenge blog- anything goes with a twist get wordy
Papertake weekly- anything goes
stamp and create- anything goes
The Cutting Edge challenge - picture inspiration. I use the colour from the picture inspiration to create my card. :)

So that is it the card for today. Pretty fun and i finally i used so many old stash on this card.
Hope you like my card today and leave me a comment if you do so or just to let me know that you have been here :)

just a little update..my doggie turn 5 years old yesterday and me and hubby decided to make her favourite food. we know she loves eggs and caesar brand doggie food, so we decided to copy the idea of omu rice. we pan fry the egg without oil then use it to wrap caesar brand doggie food and pellet).

Overjoyed for you

08:00 5 Comments
Hello friends.. welcome back again to my humble blog.
Hope you had a blast weekend. it is sunny summer here in singapore but sometimes there slight rain now and then which is good ^_^.  so inspired by sunny weather in Singapore, i decided to create bright colour card again.

So here i am using watercolour technique since this is the trend! so if i dont follow the trend now, i would be outdated :D.

I guess the best ink to do watercolour technique will be distress inks.
from left to right, i used worn lipstick, mustard seed, peel paint and dried marigold.
It looks so pretty right ? if you want to achieve this pastel colour, be sure to mixed the ink with lots of water before apply it to the watercolour paper. once it is dry i applied embossing paste use simon says stamp stencil. I LOVE STENCIL!!! ^_^ especially simon says stamp.

The cutie twin sister from mama elephant - cosmic star and the banner and tiny cute flowers is from mama elephant sweet havana. The banner i lightly colour with distress ink pumice stone.
Bottom part of the card i cut the cardstock use magnolia dies.
