Hero Arts : Chinese new card with 3 little chinese girl

Good Morning everyone...

I hope you are still enjoying my selections of Chinese New Year card.

Today i have 2 small projects to share. One is card and the other is a mini tag.

Here are the picture the both of it. Most of the items i used here are old craft supplies and i am so happy to give it a chance to shine this year.

I have this very old hero arts little chinese girl (CL339) for about 7 years and barely use it so i to give this little girl a chance to shine for this upcoming chinese new year :).

I have an issue stamping solid image and i have struggle stamping this 3 girls too. I used misti to stamped it about 4 times and yet it did not fully create a solid black hair colour. Anyway it is fine..still look okay :)

I colored the 3 girls and the chickens (mama elephant) with distress markers,

For the background i used the following distress inkpads

Scattered straw,mustard seed, fossilized amber, spun sugar, barn door, red brick, vintage photo

For the flowers images from Flourishes stamp

Good Afternoon...

Fresh from my craft room... i spent my morning created this 3 cards for my special craft friends.

I decided to do an extra effort by making shaker cards for them. For the main images (3 little girls), i used Lalaland crafts stamp and colored them with copic markers.

For the shaker card frames, i used Papertrey ink die cuts.

The chickens are from mama elephant stamp.

For the background, i played with hero arts background and gold embossed it with hero arts gold embossing powder.

For final touched i sprayed iridescent gold glimmer mist from tattered angel.

You can see the sparkle from this girl hair :)

Micia : My First Chinese New Year Card

Hello....Good Morning,

Yesterday was a very sad day for me. One of my beloved pets passed away in the morning. She has with me for about 7 years and she suffer Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease for about 5 years. I am glad that i have decided to keep her until her last breath because when i first found out about it, i brought her to the vet and the vet her life would not be long and indirectly said would be better if put to sleep to lessen her suffer.
This is her picture before she get that disease. No idea what cause her get that disease because my other bird (Picco) who live together with her for the past 6.5 years fine.

I will miss your chatter Gary and you are such a great fun to see when playing with balls :).
I have hang your favorite toy above where you rested now.
I am so sorry for in some occasions i did not treat you well enough because you are so bitey girl.
Now Go and Fly and Have fun in rainbow bridge.

I was feeling so sad and tears kept flowing on my eyes till it was very dry especially when i see her cage empty. No bird making noise inside it. then I decided that i need some distraction and i choose to create a card and it will be Chinese new year card. Luckily i have ready colored images because i have no mood to color yesterday.
