MFT : Cheers, Happy Birthday

Hello!!

A quick post :)

Today's card really my most favorite card from year 2016 so far. I am still playing mr Mr Penguin from MFT stamps and some accessorize stamps from lawn fawn.

So this is the card. I really love the bright sunrise on the back of penguins which makes the card pop ^_^.

The Mr Penguins and its accesorize were colored use distress markers. Just a quick and simple colouring and then fussy cut it. I also created a "mountains" of sands used mama elephant border dies. Added some glossy accent on the coconuts,bows and the beach balls.

And here is the inside card. Use the remaining images i have on hand and assemble it to decorate the inside card :)

MFT : Ice Cream "Happy Birthday"

Good Afternoon!

I have decided to sit down and write a short blog post where i am supposedly sleeping right now.

The medicine cause me drowsy but i could not sleep due to noisy environment around my house. There is road construction going on till early next month :(.

So might as well i do upload my latest card with my new stamps penguin from MFT.

Nowadays, i love penguins more than owl :).

Since Singapore weather is really really hot lately, what i can think of from this theme is summer and ice cream! So i colored the penguin with summer vibrant colour to match the pattern paper from doodlebugs. I am finally dare myself to use my very precious doodlebug pattern papers.

I also added some accessories stamps from lawn fawn (crab,mini coconut trees and coconuts fruits).

I colored the whole images with distress markers and hand fussy cut it because i don't have the coordinating dies.

And here is the inside card. What a cute penguin on summer suit :P.

MFT : Friends make life bearable

Hello...

Just a quick post before i am back to the dream land after taking medicines that cause me drowsy.
I am still feeling lousy. Body temperature has lowered alot but still not the normal one, flu bug still bugging me alot and cause me having throbbing headache and earache. Hope i can get well very soon within next weekdays.

Anyway i have one more card i made just right before i got sick :).

Still playing with bear stamp from MFT but this time i make them into friendship card. A quite simple card style which i am into lately.

Morning!!!!!
Happy Saturday!
What is your plan for today ?
i am resting at home since i have been unwell for the past two weeks.
I had a very high fever, throat pain, flu and lots of uneasiness on the nose.

Anyway back to my card...ta daaaa. more bears who celebrate its birthday.

If you are following me, then you will know that I am still using the same stamps (mft), same paperpads (doodlebugs). ^_^

Ohh...i forgot to mentioned that i use derwent inktense pencils to coloured the bears.

And of course i love to decorate the inside card as always :)

MFT : Happy Birthday

Hello!!!

Good Morning!
Back with another cutie image which i know it will draw lots ooh ahhh from many crafters.
This cute stamp is not new to many stamper but yes it is new to me.
For this time round i had to make a card with lots of cute meow meow because my customer's friend love cats so much. I guess we can probably call her cat lady :)

And here is the card.

I am using a pretty old pattern papers from my minds eyes and coloured the cat images from MFT coordinate with the pattern papers. I colored the images with distress markers because that is the easiest way since i still have to manually fussy cut the images :).

So which one is the cutest cat among the 5 cats? to me i love bottom left.

And because of that, i decided to color and cut one more to decorate the inside card.

I hope you like this simple but fun card :).

See you tomorrow. Tomorrow i will be sharing a card with bear image again, i made one more....hehehhe...you know that bear from MFT is just too cute and i could not resist!

MFT : Happy Birthday Bear

Hello!!!
As promised, i am bringing another card with bear image on it. I must have missed out alot when i purchased this cute stamp from MFT a couple months ago and left it untouched, because now i know this stamp image is so much fun to play with! i never want to stop playing with it. Even the details such as presents, balloons, cake, hats also perfect for other stamps ^_^. you will see it tomorrow :)

So here is my other card. Please don't focus on the wrong thing which is my nail polish :P.
Many of my friends look at my nail polish than my card ^_^.

I am still using the same pattern paper from doodlebug and colored the images according to the pattern papers. Nowadays i am pretty into this kind of style card making, but i will balance it up with the more decorated card because i have different type customers in my carousell shops ^_^

And here is the inside card. Absolutely adorable bear with a bow tie which i picked up from MFT somebunny stamp set.

MFT : Birthday Bear Hugs

Morning everyone!!
Today card will sure make you happy! It is bright and cute card because i use so many adorable bear images on it.

I am so happy that i finally able to play with MFT stamp birthday bear after keeping it more than half a year.

So here is the card...tadaaaa....

Since this is a happy occasion card, i picked up a product which always produce the cutest paper pads, who else than doodlebugs.

Some of my friends asked me few times, do you pick a paper to use then colour or colour then pick the paper ? Ok , i admit the efficient and the correct way is always select the paper to use first then do colouring of images so that it coordinates. But most of the time i did not do that, i did the other way.

But for this year, i will do the right way, select the paper and do some colouring :). It is really effective, i can create cards slightly faster than usual. It may also support by the images that does not require alot of colouring. But i still need to do fussy cut it :P.

I coloured the bear with inktense pencils, and for the decorations i coloured with distress markers and zig markers. The dies i used in here from papertrey ink (birthday) and la la land (fence and the lace border).

And of course...my cards always come decorate the inside.

My Favourite Thing : Congrats

Hello...Good Morning, it is friday. Yay! and just 2 more days to end this week theme, i hope you really like what i share so far. I am trying to avoid to enter craft room on sunday, so likely there is new card to post. I really can't wait to share the cards that i made for next week theme. Aww all so lovely ^_^.

So For today's card i decided to just playing with Tons of MFT dies.

For the beautiful flowers are cut use MFT ups daisy in 3 hues of blue. Papers that i used from american crafts.

The ups daisy dies set comes with the leaves but not the stalks so i picked MFT lily dies and cut 3 stalks for the daisies.

here is the close up of the card. I use my very old embellishment from prima marketing for the centerpiece of the flowers. It makes everything looks pretty ^_^. Oh ya..the tag behind the flower also cut use MFT dies and those sentiment aloha and sweet friend from MFT (you are the sweetest stamp set and other one not sure the name of the stamp set).

And here is the inside card. i did not stamp any sentiment so that i can use it for any occasion card. ^_^

MFT Stamps : Thank You

Hello...Good Evening.

Today's post is late because i did not have any inspiration to make a card till one fine moment while i am tidying up my craft area i spotted this gorgeous sunflower stamp from my favourite things.

It took me less than an hour to make this card. My aim is to create a clean and simple card but seriously ? will i ever make that happen ^_^.

Even until now..i feel that the top right is too empty. I have tried many things to add something on top right but end up looks very distracting. In summary, i let it be.

The gorgeous sunflower stamp is stamped use my most favourite inks from altenew except for the middle part, i used my old and new versafine.

I cut few pieces of the thanks sentiment from clearly besotted. I had hard time glue it down together to make it looks thick and sturdy :P.

I also played around with gold spiral paper clip and gold sequins to add some elegant touch.

I have not decor the inside card so i don't have photo to share ^_^.

If you follow my instagram (Yenni paper love) i believe you have seen this card. I apologize that only now i am sharing more details of the card. I have been busy with family matters and it exhaust me so much.

So as promised here is the card i made on last week sunday.

Pretty simple but sweet card. Used mostly MFT dies and some other brands such as lawn fawn and spellbinders.

Christmas card inspiration : Merry Christmas, you are on the nice list

TGIF ! Hola..i am back with another christmas card using the same stamp set from MFT Jingle all the way. this stamp set was last year release but due to out of stock most of the time, i only managed to get it recently AND I LOVE IT!

So for today card, i play a little bit some inka gold paste and white acrylic paint to cover the bare kraft corrugated board. You might not able see it in the photo but it looks awesome in real.

Colored all the images use copic markers and fussy cut them since i don't have coordinating dies.

Sprinkle some star sequins from martha stewart to add some details. I also stamped some small leaves add some pattern on the background.

Christmas card inspiration : Santa has some favorites and one is you.

Hello....i am back with one christmas card that i made today.

This is my first card after my awesome holiday at Taiwan and also my first time playing with this cute santa stamp set from MFT called Jingle all the way.

I colored them and the reinder use copic markers just want to be quick in making cards.

Instead of plain red color cardstock for the background, i decided to add few details on it.

First i add some details on the 2 side of the red carstock use Lawn fawn stitched border dies.

Next i applied some stars design use gold paste, CC design star mask (large stars) and Simon says stamp small stars mask. Remember to wait one layer to dry first then goes to the next one.

I still feel something missing so i added 3 dots on empty space use white gel pen.

For the sentiment, i decided to emboss it with gold embossing powder from Hero arts.

And here is the inside card. i always love to deco inside the card ^_^

Hello....Good afternoon...

I am back with another post for today. Please do visit my first post at HERE, i am sharing my magnolia shaker card over there.

Actually i want to share this card tomorrow but i simply can't resist to share this cutie card with you.

Also I will likely be playing this stamps (MFT You are the sweetest) for the next couple of days just because this is a perfect stamp for summer mood.

So when i made this, i thought of 3 different "flavors" ice cream. This was inspired by many of my friends who mentioned to me their favorite ice cream flavor while we hang out.

For the pink i used MFT Pink lemonade inkpad to represent Strawberry flavour,

For Yellow, i used Mama Elephant Buttercup inkpad to represent Sour Lemon ice cream.

Lastly Purple use Mama Elephant Sweet Lilac to represent Lavender flavour (yes there such ice cream) ^_^.

I also added some bows from Mama Elephant, sequins and of course glossy accent for the top of the ice cream.

And here is the inside card. I have decided to make this card as a birthday card when i deco the inside card. Stamped few of the solid images from the stamp set and cut it with the coordinating dies.

And yes....glossy accent on top again ^_^.

Baby card : Welcome to the world

Hope you day is full of fun and blessing. This is my second post for today. Please drop by at my first post at HERE

Today i am sharing a simple card use MFT stamps called somebunny and some dies from other companies.

At the beginning, i was wanted to make a farewell card or encouragement card. However after i assemble the boat i could not find any sentiments that suit my theme. Therefore, i decided to use a little bunny which i colored in advance and decided to make this card into a baby card instead.

Here is the close up the card. Lots of fun and bright colour card that suitable for summer baby ^_^.

And of course the inside card is as important as the outside.

SOMEBUNNY wishes you a happy birthday

Hello....Good afternoon.....

Shaker card is on trend now, so i decided to take part and have fun also.

For today card i am still using the same stamp set as yesterday. It is called Somebunny by My Favourite Things.

I did simple coloring on the bunnies and birdies used distress reinker (cracked pistachio,ripe persimmon and Squeeze lemon) and fussy cut it.

The fun part about shaker card is when you want to fill in the shaker frame. I have die cut some small hearts and stars from the same pattern paper. i also added sequins,beads and microbeads. It is just so much fun thing to do ^_^

I decided to take a close up of the shaker card.

SOMEBUNNY-SOMEBUNNY-SOMEBUNNY is thinking of you

Hello...good afternoon....

I am back again today with another post. This card is freshly made from my craft room and i could not wait to share with you. This layout inspired by MFT Challenge 234. Since lately i have been receiving alot of new MFT stamps that i ordered lately, i am so gear up to play with their stamps :).

So for this round, i am still playing with Stamp set called Somebunny.

I have stamped few of it which include 2 cute chicks on watercolor paper and color them with distress reinker. I was using peeled paint, wild honey, tumble glass and worn lipstick. Fussy cut them since i don't have the coordinating dies for this stamps.

I also cut few mini delicate doilies dies to fit the sketch requirement. i am so happy when i receive this dies because i know i will be using it alot :) I also added some die cuts buttons from the MFT dies that i receive if for free when i purchase above certain amount. That is why i always love MFT ^_^. Shipping fast and still get freebie to comes along. Awesome!

I took few pictures of this card because i simply love this card...super cute in any angle ^_^.

Not so original summer colour cards ^_^

Hello Hello Hello.... happy thursday! Summer is almost over in here with a sign of almost daily rain in singapore . In here we only have 2 seasons - either scorching hot weather or cold and humid rainy weather. :P...people get sick easly in transation period like now. So those who stay in Singapore, please take care of your health okay ^_^

To celebrate end of "summer" in Singapore, Today i have bright (in my definition) orange blue and gold card. I couldnt go for the neon or bright real summer colour, it is jus not my preference ^_^.

I really love a small touches of gold on the card, it seems "pop" the card and make it more interesting.

So here is my first card.

I like to add sewing pattern in my card but since i dont have sewing machine so i have to manually hand stitch..hahha fingers exercise and i think it is okay since it is small portion :). The zig zag pattern was inpired from papertrey ink youtube and the velum idea from janna werner.

And second card with still using the same hint of colours i have done pretty lots of stamping and die cutting, but it worth the effort since i have so much stamps and die cut ^_^.

The stamps and dies (rose) is from papertrey inks and for sentiment from kaiser craft.
