Christmas just few days away, aren't you excited?

So here i am presenting my last card of the year and i created for Lovely layers ladies at Penny Black Blog. Hop in there to see the full picture and downloadable instructions.

This will also be my last card for Penny Black inc. With heavy heart i have decided to step down from lovely layers ladies due to family commitment. Thank you very much for all the support for the past few years. i am so grateful to have card making as a hobby and made my life more colourful and exciting. I also made lots of friends during this time. thank you for those who end up more than just a friends ^_^

Magnolia Stamp : JOY!

13:56 0 Comments

Good Afternoon everyone! Happy sunday to all of you!
I heard some of you in USA has started to experience snow :). I don't know how it feels but one day i wish to experience it and wish to spend my christmas in snowy day. Meanwhile in singapore is pretty HOT. occasional rain happens but it was just 5-10 mins of rain and back to HOT and sunny day.
But look at the bright side, i can do my laundry and it dries within a day :P.

Back to the card.
who missed manolia stamp ? I do missed playing with it when making this card.
I colored this image long time a go but now then i get chance to turn it into card and shaker card will be the fun card to make.

To make the shaker card i use papertrey ink dies which come in a set of heart shape, oval and rectangle shape. It was a special edition so i am not very sure if the set still available.
I colored magnolia with distress markers. Filler for the shaker card i use american craft glitter, mini beads and sequins.
Flowers are from wild orchid crafts, leaves bought at chatuchak thailand. I miss thailand!

The old time favourite sentiment JOY from papertrey ink too. almost every year i make card with it, there will be at least one person asked me where to get it ^_^.

Hope to see you again very soon

Magnolia stamp : Joy joy joy

08:00 0 Comments
Morning...

It is finally friday.. and i have a card to share. No, it is not my recent card, this probably 1-2 years back and still stuck on my blog draft. I still have about 20 draft to clear. Some of it i decided to delete it. It is kind of messy having so many "back log" and hands itchy to clear it ^_^.

So here is today's card. Created used magnolia stamps and colored it with prismacolor pencils. Fussy cut the trees, yes colored and fussy cut it. It is really pretty and worth the effort. I wish there is a die cut for it.

And here is the inside card.

Hope you like this card. Please let me know ^_^

Thank you for visiting

Good Morning!!
How is your weekends, hope everything went smoothly and you had a blast.

I am back sharing one of my old christmas card inside my blog draft.
I used Penny black stamp as a main image but i forgot what color medium i used to color this card. It is likely derwent inktense that i blend with water.
I am kind of like the layout from this card, probably i will redo something similar to this ^_^.

And here is the inside card :)

Have a lovely day ahead and happy crafting

Paper Nest Doll : Joy with This adorable snow family

09:51 0 Comments
Hello!!

Thank you for coming back here again.

Today is kind of a special day for me as Christine Young, the owner of Paper Nest Dolls stamp invited me to play with her new Christmas release stamps. If you have not heard this stamp company, you might be in the same boat as me as we missed out something nice here!
Do check out her shop at HERE. She has tons of wonderful stamps that uniquely designed inspired by her children.

So here is the close up of the card.
She is so kind offered me many stamps but since i am only tasked to make one card so i decided to pick one only, just to be fair :)
So out of many cute sneak peeks she gave me, i picked up this cute snow family. Snowman is always be one of my favorite things for Christmas. But hey! did i choose a wrong colour here for the landscape ?
No i did not, in fact i did it on purpose :P.
In Singapore, we don't have winter and what we have is sunny and rainy. So i thought i make a Christmas card that a little bit close to reality. Green grass and blue skies :).

So here is the whole look of the card.
For the main image i colored with copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.
For the pattern papers i used lawn fawn and echo park pattern papers. I really love the color combos here.

The beautiful flowers from prima marketing. JOY sentiment cut use papertrey ink dies. Snowflakes border and moroccan border punched use martha stewart puncher.

I hope you like the card i create today. Be sure to visit Paper Nest Doll blog or facebook page to see more inspiration for new releases.

See you very soon :)

LOTV : Let the spirit of Christmas Bring you Joy

09:17 0 Comments
Good Morning!
Good day to all of you.

It is a brand new day here and i am grateful for it for i still wake up in great condition.
I was so tired yesterday over tons of housework  but i am so glad i manage to create a card to add on to my charity bazaar basket.

 And here is the card.
I went little more on layering for this card and not traditional Christmas colors.
For the main card shape, i purchased it  from my friend and she said she cut use silhouette.

For the main image which is this adorable penguins, i used LOTV Penguin Presents and colored it with zig markers during 30 days daily marker challenge. I guess this challenge is the most brilliant challenge ever. I am able to have loads of colored images ready when i join this challenge. Sometimes i could even color more than required :)

If you have not heard about this challenge, be sure to visit Kathy Rac blog. She is going to start the challenge on November.
Basically, She challenge us to color one image with any medium a day then post it in your instagram and put the most popular hashtag #thedailymarker30day. So one image a day, very simple :)
If you are a stamp hoarder like me, who buying stamps more than selling it or using it, i would recommend you to join this challenge.

Back to the card :)
Here are the supplies i used for this card
Zig clean color brush
Strathmore watercolor paper
Spellbinder grand circle and scallop circle dies
Quickutz star dies
Spellbinder oval and scallop oval dies
Kaiser Craft pattern papers

Hope you like my today's card.
Have a lovely day ahead
