Hi Everybody...how are you today. I hope all of you have a great time. Feeling rather sad today as i havent receive an email from one important person that for me it will change my life and how the way people look at me.Haiz..hopefully she will send me email soon.

Well today i did not create a card but i do have something to share. I bought this puncher from my local craft store today. Eventhough this puncher punch ballon size slighlty bigger than what i expect but i do love it. This puncher is from EK Success brand.

Instead of normal ballon...

I created lady bug use this puncher
"I punched one on brown cards and one on red. Fold the red cardstock into half to get the fold mark. cut triangle shape. Use foam dots to glue it to the brown cardstock. Take cropadile or normal puncher and punch on brown cardstock to create pattern on lady bug wing. Punch circle puncher on  new brown cardstock and puch again a little bit to create "half oval". glue it on the top part--become head.

also a bird
"BODY :punch balloon shape on to blue cardstock and fold into half.
WING AND HEAD :Punched another 2 circle puncher on different pattern paper/cardstock
LEG: i punch 2 more ballons and only use the bottom part (scallop) then fold it into 2. Stick it on to the 2 small strip of blue pattern paper

Flower...
PETALS : Punched several ballons shape on the pattern paper. stick it together to create a flower look.

Lastly octopus ^_^..
HEAD: Punch one ballon shape on the lighter colour cardstock and distress it.
LEG : Draw legs and cut it..remember it must be 8 legs ^_^

Hope you like it..

Yup..that title been on my head for so long...
So i came up with one solution that may reduce the chance card recepient to throw my card that i create..

Here is the look of my card:

Yes it looks like a normal card..however...

ta da...! i created slits on every corner for me to put the recepient photos..by then he or she can keep it as a memory holder or even you can put voucher, gift card, etc on it ^_^
In this picture, the photo size will be the same like credit card size ^_^
(Those husband can also use this card to give wife supplementary credit card for craft shopping..hahahhaha) *_*

Here is the close up look:

Making cloud with chalks

18:06 4 Comments
I was asked by some viewers of my blog, how I did the cloud background for some of my last few cards. So I've compiled the a step-by-step guide below. Hope this will help you with your designs or spur your imaginative thinking on how to improve/expand on it's usage.

Step 1: Prepare the required items
a) Pebbles Chalks (can be replace with distress inks/watercolours)
b) Carl puncher
c) Fixative spray-

Step 2: Punch a cloud use scrap paper. If you dont have the puncher you can draw by yourself

Step 3:
Take the biggest "cotton ball" and choose the lighter colour.
The reason is once you spray fixative, the colour will become slightly darker. Dab the cotton ball on the chalks, get a little bit chalks for the first time. Once you get use to with it, dab more chalks.

Step 4:
Place the punched cloud on the paper. Do chalking  in circular motions

Step 5:
Left side: The result of the step 4.
Right side: Overlap chalking till the whole page full

Result of several masking

Step 6:
Take fixative spray and spray to the chalked paper

The result after spray--slightly darker than before.

Hope this help
