Alter Alpha : R for Rubinah

08:00 11 Comments
Hello and good morning...

Finally completed my Last alpha order from my friend and it is for herself.

She saw a letter i created for her sister and she asked me if i could do one for her same design as here. Coincidentally her Alpha is the same R as her sister.. She here it is.

Now i finally i can concentrate on making cards.
My card sales has not been good lately, probably economy and also i have stoped taking customize order this year due to health reason and doctor asked me not to stress and tired myself,

So i think, instead of keep staring the cards in my box  and the sales that very slow moving, i decided to bless more people with my cards. I think card making is all about that right ? Sending family, friends cards to warm their heart ? ^_^
One of my target this year is make more cards to send to close friend and family :)

Soon i will be making Chinese new year cards. Must rush because Chinese new year is really around the corner. i will be meeting my friend this weekend to collect the my chinese new year stamp which i purchased from her :)

Hope to see you here again with my latest cards.

Have a lovely and blessed year.

Hugs
Yenni.

Next will be Z for Zainah... I am still in the mood of peach colour but this round i combined it with green colour. I added 3 type of ribbons here (Peach flower ribbon, kraft flower ribbon- behind the flowers and the name, and lastly the green fringe ribbon).
The beautiful butterflies i cut used MFT dies.
The flowers from wild orchird craft

I hope you like what i am sharing today.

Hi...

Today alpha is E for Elsa. My friend wants to make my job easier so  she asked me to not to put any colored images on the remaining alphas.
It is a great chance for me to use so many embellishments i have in my stash.

The wooden alpha from kaiser craft.
For the pattern papers, i used lily of the valley pattern paper which no longer in productions. sadly!
Flowers from wild orchird craft.
Butterflies cut use MFT dies on white cardstock.

I used thickers alpha for the name.

Hope you like what i am sharing today.

But before that, let me present you one of my favourite creations for last month.
This alter alpha created before my trip.

My close friend asked me to create an alter alpha for her sister who loves purple and animals.

So here i used LOTV pattern papers which sadly already discontinued to cover the alpha. The sides of the alphas i painted use white acrylic paints.
I also used some of my prima marketing flower stash to decorate the alpha.

I used layers of beautiful laces and alpha from american crafts.

This lovely bears from LOTV which i colored used zig markers.

I do hope you like it

See you soon

Stampavie : Alter Alpha

16:46 0 Comments
Good evening everyone!
Hope you enjoy your saturday.

I have such a lovely day here in Singapore. It is cooling and a little bit rainy here which kind of weather i prefer than sunny :).
So here is my latest creations and i think this will be the last batch of alter alpha i created for my friend.
This alpha will be a gift for her son who loves arsenal football club. I asked my husband who also a fan of arsenal, what should i do with her request.
He said made something with white red and a bit of black and of course a guy/boy who is playing football.
So i dig out my stamps and found this stampavie stamp and i decided this image would be the perfect one.

i colored the image with distress markers and tombow dual brush pens.
The background pattern paper from echo park which i am so happy that it fit perfectly to the theme.

And i used thickers papermarket special edition for her son name :)

I hope you like this simple project and i will see you very soon :)

The Greeting Farm : Alter Alpha with Hatter guy

15:09 2 Comments
Good Afternoon
Hope everything going well on your side.

I am doing well and still busy with  de stashing unused or no longer interested some of my craft supplies to my local friends. I am releasing it quite slow because most of it used once or never use so i feel dilemma and guilty to the max. I am more willing to sell those at least Used once better than never use at all. Anyway hope can raise some money and save it for rainy day or maybe discount day :P.

By the way, Since it is a nice weather here..it is a bit cloudy with a little thunder but still feel warm, I thought i am in the mood to sit down in front of computer and  share this project.

So i am making another alter alpha again!! i still have one more on the way.
Guy Project is always the challenging. Limited colors to choose, simplicity preferred and you know i can't use flowers and girly stuffs on it. So i decided, ok play the safest color, blue and grey.

For the main feature for this project, i used the greeting farm from Hatter collections. I colored this handsome guy used tombow dual brush pens and distress markers.

For the large star dies, i used sizzix dies and the scribble circle behind the guy used papertrey ink.

And here is the other part of the alphas.

Hope you like this simple project.

The Greeting Farm : Alter Alpha

13:11 2 Comments
Good Afternoon,

Finally i have a new project to share with you.
My ex colleague asked me to alter her colleague initials to give her as a present, since i lost my mojo and the wooden alphas was out of stock in spotlight so i take my time to take a break and cleaning up my room. I am so grateful that she did not chase me during my idle time :).
So now my craft room is fairly neat, it is time to make a mess again and i decided to continue complete my outstanding orders and here is one of it.

I painted Kaiser craft wooden Alpha use white acrylic paint as a based.  Then i trace the alpha on the basic grey pattern paper and cut it out. Stick the pattern paper on it and sand the edges to remove the excess.
I layered several pretty lace that match with the theme i wanted to create.
For her colleague name, I used thickers from american craft. Since her colleague name is very long, i decided to overlap each of the circle instead of side by side directly.

I added some Prima rose flowers (blue) and 2 green flowers which i bought from local scrapbook store mapletreehouse. I also added Kaiser pearls around the flowers.

For the main feature , i used Greeting farm stamp and colored it use prismacolor pencils.
Fussy cut and stick it on the top right of the alpha

I hope you like this simple project.

17:48 2 Comments

Hellow Friends! How are you today? It is my second post of the day!! :) After crazy over notebook now i am crazy over Alter alphas :) . I have few alphas waiting to be altered! :) I hope i have enough time for all of those.I have got this inspiration from Maya Road DT Lia Abdullah, who are kind enough to let me scrap lift her idea on altering :). Thank you Lia!
So today i will be sharing my very first altered alphas and i have R for Rubinah. I am going to give this for my colleague who has been very supportive by purchasing or ordering my handmade card. So since she likes anything pastel colours, I decided to take my my minds eye pattern paper to cover the entire alphas as a base.

I distressed the edges with versafine sephia and start to do the decoration.
I layered my wood veneer doily and start cover it with roses from WOC and my personal stash from various sizes and too make it pretty, i used ZVA creative rhinestone. Love this particular design of the rhinestone. It come in a set and pretty! looks like wings to me :).
Cut owl shapes from Cottage  Cutz 2 different colour of cardstocks and 1 pattern paper and i started to build the owl.

Hope you like my projects :)

Hugs
