On Your Wedding- Shadow Box

Hi Sweet friends! How are you? i hope you had a great weekend! I had mine..i spent 11 hours with my crafty friends dining and shopping. I didnt feel the pain till the next day when my calfs and my soles aching badly. I decided to go to food massage yet! still pain....

Anyway...sorry for being bad blogger. This August and September are really my super busy period. Not only work but also crafting. I have lots of assignments and orders.

I hope i cant complete all on time!

So Today project is one of the order that i created for my friend.

She has requested to leave a blank space so that the wedding couple able to place their own photo/

Use lots of flowers from Wild Orchird Craft and some butterflies from Studio Calico.

I love this colour theme. Those papers are from Theresa Collins.

The back of the shadow box. I have created a space for my friend to write wedding wishes for her friend.

And lastly, i have few sneak peek of the upcoming deasy design new release..

Hello Hello....
How are you crafty minds?
I have been busy with some assigment and orders to do...but yet i cant reveal the card result...so this days likely no post first. But today i have 3 cards to share with you.
I have been playing with October afternoon 9-5 paper packs and its embellisment.
In this series, the design theme is related to work. The word 9-5 just make me jealous! why ? because i work from 8.30am to 6pm...lol

A set of stuffs for my colleague birthday

Hellow Crafty Minds! Busy day for you? It was a busy week for me, busy with meet up friends, supports some colleague on inter department bowling competitions, catch movies and many more :). Weekend just pass to fast!! hate that! :( but now i am looking forward another weekend which will be my father in law birthday as well as my doggie birthday :).

So for today projects, i have 3 projects to share.

Another October Afternoon set of Cards

Happy Friday Crafters! Finally weekend is just around the corner! I am soo happy as i would be going to GARDEN FESTIVAL. It is an event that hold in Singapore almost yearly where countries or some local flower shop will make a grand display of their flowers--especially orchirds. Most of the display has a theme, i will share with you some of the photos once it is ready :D.

My husband way more excited! he has ordered his fav orchird from Taiwan nursery from last year to bring to Singapore and he is going to collect it soon! :D

Oh ya..not only display..they do sell flowers also. Foreigner will also be able to purchase and bring back to your country. Based on my experience, in the event there will be a AVA booth that in charge of certify that the plant is safe to bring back to other country. If i am not wrong they will issue a certificate for the items :D. I knew this because there were 2 American ladies who wants to buy plant but ensure that they are able to bring it out, so we brought them to the AVA. Why we know? because me and hubby work in AVA too :D wakakkaka...

ok back to the card for today! i have another set of October Afternoon card that i created a couple days back. The paper and bits and pieces still from Cakewalk collections.

Firsy card i have an elephant and a cupcake :D

Love this little elephant that i cut from the paper pad. The sentiments are from stickers.

Second card, i have racoon with a trumpet :D

Third card is my fav! i have cut lots of bits and pieces from pattern paper and stuff it in the frame :D

A set of cards use Cakewalk from OA :D

Hellow sweet ladies and gentleman out there.. How is your weekend ?

I am kind of busy with making card, but this time again no colour images required as i am quite not in the mood to colour :D. So today i bring you a set of cards that i created use the latest October Afternoon collection Cakewalk. I can say this is my favourite series for this year. I bought almost all the embellisment that goes along with it. They are just sooo adorable.

So without further delay, here are the set of cards for you eye candy :D

All my cards size is 4 x 6". This time i only want to play with rectangle shape, in addition save $$ as i can create 3 cards with 12 x 12 " cardstock :D. I have use lots of embellisment from Miscellany,Flower sack, buttons and tin pins.

The boy and girl card is cut from the 8 x 8 " pattern paper pad.

Lastly, on top of the items i mentioned early on, i also use EK success pucher (border), May arts twine and spellbinder (star shape) on this card.

Heroes Card Drive

Heroes Card Drive – We need your help!

Hi Crafter especially those in USA. I have happened to see Laurel blogpost and i wish to pass this message. We have another heroes card drive. Though i am not a USA citizen but i find that this event just touch my heart deeply. It great thing if we could appreciate and give something for those people who always stay within us and safe guard our country safety. The people who has to leave their family to protect your family. I am kind of envy with this event. I wish i could have created one for my country too.

You may or may not be aware that our sweet Laurel’s husband Christian has left just this week on deployment with the U.S. Navy. We wanted to do something similar to Operation Write Home, but specifically for the courageous men and women who work and serve along side Christian on his ship. Those who have each other’s backs and are keeping each other safe while they are away from their families.

We would so love for you to get involved.

We are looking for quality, handmade cards FOR OUR TROOPS TO SEND to their loved ones. Out on the field, many of our soldiers do not have the opportunity to purchase a card to send for their child’s birthday or simply to tell their significant other that they love them and are thinking about them. We want to provide them this service.

For the safety and to meet the desires of our troops, we have a few simple guidelines that we would ask you would adhere to:

NO STORE BOUGHT CARDS. Cards must be handmade. Use quality products that won’t fall off in extreme temperatures. A good quality adhesive is a must. These cards have a long way to travel and once they arrive, they will likely be cherished and kept and perhaps even saved in scrapbooks or collections. Send your best, because our troops and their families deserve nothing less. Make sure that your card will stand the test of time.

ABSOLUTELY NO GLITTER! This is a serious one. Glitter that has flaked off on a soldier’s uniform can become a real threat to their lives, as it makes them visible to night-vision goggles. And as anyone who has ever worked with glitter knows, the stuff just gets everywhere. ;o) The last thing we would ever want to do is put one of these brave men and women in harm’s way. Glitter glues that do not flake off such as stickles or glitter pens such as Sakura StarDust Jelly Rolls or Copic Atyou Spicas are acceptable.

KEEP IT RELATIVELY FLAT. Some dimension is okay, such as lifting images up with pop dots or adding twine or ribbon, but try to save the buttons and other large, bulky embellishments for other projects. We want to make sure these cards make it through the postal system and arrive at their intended destination in one piece.

LEAVE THE INSIDE BLANK. We don’t want to use up any space that our heroes could potentially use to write their own personal message to their loved ones. In fact, if you use a dark cardstock for your card base that makes it difficult for someone to write legibly on, we ask that you would line the inside with a white or light colored cardstock so that the recipient has no trouble whatsoever discerning their soldier’s words.

DO NOT SEAL THE ENVELOPE. We want the troops to be able to open it right up, personalize it and send it to their loved ones. For this purpose, please include one blank envelope with each card INSIDE the envelope you mail them in.

A set of cards

Hellow Crafty Minds....Welcome back again to my blog :D. I am in the mood of creating cards without any stamping or colouring at all. In fact i was inpired to use more of my scrap papers when i tidy up my paper pads. So for today i have picked Antique pattern papers as a main materials that i use in my card accompany with simple stories for the sentiments only.

I love the vibrant orange, black and grey shown on the antique pp series. I have decided to play with some of my scrapbook supplies in the process of creating this card.

Ok lets see my set cards.

First card

I have decided to place banners, wood veener, flowers, rhinestone and flower ribbon on every card. It will makes that each of the card are actually similar but not the same.

I have used spellbinder dies to raise up the sentiments that i cut out from simple memories pp.

Rhinestone are from ZVA creative. Butterfly and human shape wood veener from studio calico. Flower from dollar shop.

Second Card

Similar materials used. With an addition, Wild orchird craft flower, maya road wood veneer (butterfly), stars wood veener from studio calico. Black colour words from October Afternoon.

Third Card

Lots of flowers huh? :D. The biggest flower is from Prima Marketing. The rest of the material the same.

Alter items no colouring images

Hi Crafter,how are you? i am so sorry for the absent. Normal, i am busy with my life and my sick doggy who out of sudden change her behaviour. :(. She suddenly wee wee and poo poo everywhere. She is toilet trained till this few days. I was so frustrated and my friends suggested me to bring her to vet. So far there is nothing wrong with her but havent check her urine test as the vet unable to get the urine sample. Anyway i decided to take some of my time to create alter stuffs otherwise there will be no blog post this week. :D

So today post is an altered Prima Marketing container. This is the view before..it looks so old but i am going to make her looks so pretty in 1 hour.

And here is the result.

As there is no colouring image involved i managed to alter it in within 1 hour. I have use GCD Studio latest collection -Splendor

The angel is from Spotlight which i distress with versafine sephia, Flowers from Wild Orchird Crafts. Tags from Ranger.

Rhinestone from Prima Marketing. Glitter from Ranger.

The top view. I just want to make it simple. I punched out 3 inch scallop circle design on my Splendor pp. Heart embellisment from Prima Marketing.

I think that is it from me today. I am in the mood of altering now..but i guess i should add a coloured image this time :D

A shadow box for my friend

Good morning peeps! it is monday..and i am feeling so blue like the sky in Singapore. I was so busy during my weekend for my parents came to singapore. Luckly, during their stay i do have strength to bring them around. Once they left, my whole body start aching and feeling sick, but yet i still have to do some of order from my friends. Some how i am being extra blessed this month, lots of orders from friends and colagues..tiring but hey! i can do what i like and earn money the best part :e . There are 2 shops who also offer me to teach but unfortunately i do not have time for it as i am working full time now and it takes a lot of my energy :c .

Yesterday i managed to created one of the order from my friend who has been delay for sometimes. Spent few hours to do but that is okay as today i am on leave.

Best Wishes on your birthday :)

Hi Peeps! How are you today?

What a tough day for me. so many problems, so many things to do but people just dont care that i have loads of things to do and yet just keep adding it! I think if i work 12 hours a day also wont finish....so sad!

...i hate it! really hate it..sometime just think i want to leave this job! But again! i have to work to get what i want!

so i gotta try to be patience !

Huh!!! really a tough day for me! feeling so down and not in the mood to work :(

Hopefully tommorow is a better day for me.

Well..just a quick share for today card. I created this card for one of my colleague request.

Hope she likes it!

Pretty easy and simple yet lot of things to sacrifice like i accidentally dropped a bottle of white paint on my floor...(what a mess!). But i just feel happy with the result! :)

GDT AT DYSU :)

Hi Sweets! Hope you are doing well. Weekends is so close!So Hang on....

By the way it will be a short post as i am rather busy today :)

Today card is specially created for my fav challenge blog : Do you stack Up.

And i am happened to be their GDT today :) !The theme is extremelly easy..it is Silver. (you can actually use grey like i did :)

So here is my card. Since xmas is so near, i have decided to create one to kick a start creating xmas cards :)

They offer us 4 different prizes from different companies. the chances to win soo high :)

You are a great Friend

Hi Peeps...thanks for staying back :) I have a few quick things to share today :).

First will be this magnolia card..i have created this i think last month but wasnt given finishing touch which is a simple sentiment to it. Now it is completed so i guess it is a right time to upload it in the blog. I learned how to colour my magnolia in different way likes the magnolia face darker than usuall, the shade of the clothes also a little bit different-i tried to control myself not to cover everything with colour. As for bunny, i was inspired by bunny colour at my working place :).I love orange and white bunny!

Here is the close up of tilda. i choose brown colour pencils to create shade for bunny and skin.

Move on to the next topic is about my flea market yesterday.

Here is my photo with a small space for me to sell my cards...for yesterday is an easter day and most people went to services so the crowds wasnt really there and i didnt manage to sell many of my cards.So hopefully today i can make some good sales!! :)

Here is my mini flea market stall that i shared with my friend Alice.Please come if you stay at Singapore :)

it is located at Old People Association HQ at kallang from 22-24April...11am-6pm :).

Some crafts and educational magazine for sale!Of course buy more will be cheaper :) Just want to get clear inventories :)

Another stuffs to share...

After a tiring day at Flea Market and had a very bad headache..me and hubby decided to give a surprise to our dearie friends by sudden show up to the their dinner venue (we did cancel our appointmentf few days back actually :P ). So here we go..there are 8 of us!

We ate,We Dine and yes we are playing easter eggs hunt! it was really fun..there are few of other customer that join us as well but we won the prize! A white wine...(too bad i dont like wine!) :)
