Penny Black : Sending hugs

Hello!!!

It is nice to see you here again. I am back with a card used Critter love from Penny Black stamp.

Here is the photo of the stamp set that i used.

This time i made a simple card but i did play alot with distress ink pads till my fingers so dirty ^_^.

Since this blending techniques is very popular lately with crafters so i might as well give it a try right while there are so many inspirations floating around in the internet ^_^.

So here is the supplies i used to create this card :

For the mice i used Prismacolor pencils : Cream, Eggshells,Artichoke, Light Umber, Pink and Neon Pink. For the Moon : Canary Yellow and Lemon Yellow

To create the background, i used 300gsm watercolor papers. I stamped few stars images use versamark and white embossed it.

The stars images i took from several of my Penny Black sets 30-046 it;s your day , 30-147 mimi's playground, 30-235 cake and wishes .

I used distress inkpads to color the background and here are the ink pads i used :

squeezed lemonade, yellow mustard, fossilized amber, black soot, chipped sapphire and dusty concord.

I also did flick several time of acrylic paint on it :)

Lastly i added mini star sequins on it to add a little interest :)

Penny Black : Sending Hugs

Happy Sunday everyone!

It is bright and sunny here in Singapore.

It is nice to see the sun is coming back after a heavy downpour yesterday. But i don't like the heat and humidity in here tho :).

To brighten your Sunday, I decided to do a quick blog post before i am heading to hang my laundry and rush to go to church :)

If you followed my instragram at Yenni Paperlove, you should have seen this lovely images i colored a couple days back. I am so grateful that Penny Black kind enough sending me this stamp set.

This stamp set is absolutely must have in my opinion. It is called Critter Love . You will see 2 adorable cute cats, 2 cute mice and a couple of owls. Below is the stamp set image.

As usual, i am going crazy over layers ^_^.

For the main image, i colored it with Prismacolor. I happened has the color list i used to color.

For the mice : Cream,Eggshells,Artichoke,Light Umber, Pink and Neon Pink

For the Moon : Canary Yellow and Lemon Yellow

For the sending Hugs banner i used Avery Elle stamp Woodlands Wonders and stamped it on MFT Cardstock with versafine Vintage Sephia.

For the large star in the middle as well as the sides are cut used sizzix dies and i blend use mustard seed and squeezed lemonade distress ink pads.

I also used 51-207 Layered Flower dies from Penny black. My recent fav dies!

Here is another close up of the many stacks of papers i used here ^_^.

For the circle and scallop circle i used spellbinder dies.

For the doilies i used prima marketing dies and lastly the pretty scallop dies behind the stars used sizzix dies.

And here is the inside card. I love this sweet and cute mice in the envelope :)

Sweet Stamp Shop : It's been oolong, i miss you

Happy Saturday everyone! ^_^

Today i am featuring a petite stamps from Sweet stamp shop which i purchased recently from local craft shop. If you know shopkins toys then you have the same thinking as my husband. ^_^

So I have colored 10pcs of it but at this moment i only made 4 cards with it. Will be making very soon and share here.

Meanwhile, here is the close up of each of the card :

Here is my first card. I did a Very basic coloring for all the images use derwent softcolor. My least favorite color pencils :(. I think prismacolors produce way nicer result than derwent softcolor.

Not sure why the paper look yellowish here, it should be ivory white similar to the first card above.

all the cards has a similar concept to make it easy for me to mass produce ^_^

Third card with slightly different colors. I love a hint of purple in this card.

Penny Black : Lovely Layers week at Penny black inc

Yay...hello everyone!!!

It is a time of the month where i share my creations at Penny Black inc under the Fun Friday featuring lovely layers ladies.

If you have been following my blog, you will know that i love love penny black critters. I never stop collecting almost all the stamps releases with their cute critters. My most favorite is hedgehogs, cats and mouse. I am always hoping they always release at least one critter stamp set for each release :).

So here is my sneak peek for today's card over the blog.

The Greeting Farm : Alter Alphas

Good Morning!!!

It has been sometimes i am away from this blog.

Yes..i am crazily busy lately with some church community gathering,class by my local church and usual house chores.

I barely made cards lately but i manage to still steal some of my time to do coloring.

Back to today's project. My friend asked me to alters some alphas for her friends and family birthday.

I always having a hard time when it comes to guy project. Early on, i only put everything else on the photo except this little buddy.

While i tidy up my TGF stamps, i stumble across this handsome guy image, and decided that this guy will be a perfect addition to the alter alpha and yes it does :)

Tiddly Inks : Happy Birthday, wishing you rainbow and eternal happiness

Hello!!!

Welcome back...

Today we have a new challenge at Tiddly ink blogs and we go with the super easy challenge theme which is Anything goes with tiddly ink stamp :).

How cool is that :).

I think wryn with heart is my most favorite stamps from tiddly ink. For this time round, i colored her with prismacolor instead of copic markes. I am loosing my feeling to copic markers lately due to the process of cap and uncap the markers every time i need to color :P. I found it so tedious, so i turned my heart to my long lost lover which is my prismacolor pencils :).

Here is the close up of the cards. Playing with lots of layers as always. The sentiment from mama elephant, the small banner from The greeting farm and the corner flowers image from Lili of the valley.

Those pretty pattern papers from basic grey.

And here is the inside card :) i colored the pony from TGF stamp set.

Tiddly Inks : Hoot hoot hooray, so very proud of you

Hello!!

Welcome back. it has been few days i never post any card. I have been really really busy and yesterday i was the busiest. I went for to hospital from morning to evening for health check up and doctor appointment on the same day. It was so tiring when especially i have to fast. I only get chance to eat around noon 1 am so i have been fasting more than 12 hours which i rarely do :P.

So today i still feel so tired and decided to just stay at home to do a bit stuff and try to rest when my body ask me to.

So back to card...it is another Fabulous Friday at Tiddly inks.

So here is my card for today. I used Graduate Wryn and colored it with copic markers.

For the background, i used Hero arts stamps and white embossed it on watercolor papers. I used gansai tambi to create a very vibrant color combo. The both sentiments came from the same stamp set from hero arts.

Penny Black : Let Your dreams take flight

TGIF!!! and it will be a long weekend here in Singapore because of the extension of labor day holiday that falls on Sunday :). It also means i will get spend more time with my family :)

Hope you will have a great weekend too.

Back to card, Today i am featuring this super adorable duck from Penny black Buddy and duck and Snippets for the sentiments. I just can't resist to play with this stamp, duck is always one of my favorite animals beside hamsters, birds and dogs.

There are 3 ducks images and 4 dogs images in the stamps sets and all super super cute. This stamps set is one of the must buy stamp set :).

I colored the ducks with distress markers and fussy cut the images because there is no coordinating dies for it, It is pretty easy to cut anyway :).

Here is the full look of the card. I used mama elephants giant tags to create the card based. As for the clouds looks like, i am using Mama elephant landscape Trio Creative cuts. I colored each of the scallops with distress inkpads and MFT inkpads.

The sun shape cut used Lawn fawn dies and colored it with distress inkpads.

Magnolia : Thanks

Hi Everyone...

Dropping by quickly to share my latest card before i heed to meet friends today :)

I colored this beautiful summer tilda with flag from pink lemonade series. I did no line coloring and colored it with distress markers. I did not do well on the hair part because the tip of the markers was not in good condition anymore so i could not do the flicking motion well.

I did a little crazy layering on this card by playing with some dies from MFT , CC designs and martha stewart border puncher.

And here is the inside card. Aw always keep it simple :)

I am glad that this card sold before even i put it in the carousell shop :).

Unity Stamp : Mum You're the best thing that's ever happened to me

Good Morning!!!

Thank you for always staying with me.

Lately i have been having a stamp shopping spree like no other day, so Yesterday i decided to select some of my stamps to destash and bumped into this lovely deer to me unity stamps.

I was seriously don't even remember i have this stamp and since the sentiments that come along in the set is about mum, i guess it is a perfect time to make mother's day card.

But to keep it versatile, i did not put sentiment happy mother's day :)

So here is my card.

I used carta bella it's a boy 6x6" paper pad to make this card. Playing with ME tag dies and MFT scallop circle and lace dies too.

For the sentiment i white embossed it with hero arts white embossing powder.

As for the main image, i stamped the lovely deer on watercolor and colored it with zig markers.

Flowers from Wild orchid crafts.

And here is the inside card. I love the sentiment "from your favorite child" :)

Tiddly Inks : Oh Thank You, My heart is full all thanks to you

Yup!! It is another round of Tiddly ink challenge again. I was lucky enough to manage to buy toner for my printer, otherwise i would not be able to join this week challenge at Tiddly ink.

For this week, Tiddly ink has a fairy theme challenge.

And here is my card.

I saw an echo park pattern paper autumn edition on my stash and straight away i think that this will be perfect color combo for this Fairy Tenderhearted stamp :)

And here is the inside of the card. I used penny black stamp to decor the inside.

Magnolia : Oh Thank You

Good Morning!!!

It is a beautiful day here in Singapore, though a little bit hot and i can shower with sweat in my craft room :P. I take it as a natural sauna...hahaha.

Back to card..

Today i am featuring Magnolia stamp Bubble Tilda from Pink Lemonade series. I have a lot of favorite stamps from this series and one of it is this bubble tilda.

I colored her with distress markers and tried no line coloring.

Though i played with plenty of layers of papers and dies for this card and i still want to keep this card design not to overwhelm with many embellishments and i think i achieved it :)

The beautiful soft blue flowers are from prima marketing and the white flowers from Wild Orchird Craft. The pattern papers from authentique paper pads.

And as always, here is the inside card :). I think i stamped the sentiments upside down...lol

Wow Wow Wow...time does fly very fast and it is another Tuesday and Yes it is a new challenge at Tiddly inks.

If some of you does not know, Tiddly inks post the challenge every 2 weeks on tuesday and in the alternate week, they will post some inspiration on friday :).

So we are come to the inspiration friday :)

And here is my card. I am using Tiddly inks Magical friendship.

Penny Black : Happy Birthday

Good Morning!!!

I am just back from my morning stroll with my dog. We managed to walk about 2.89km. Still very little count but my dog already can't take it :P. The longest brisk walk i did is about 4.06km. I am still chubby in size and been so long never exercise, so i shall not push myself too hard right ?
Now my target is exercise 30mins a day to build up my strength first :)

The Greeting Farm : Congrats on Your Pregnancy /Baby

Good Morning!!!

There is a little craze with The Greeting farm stamp between my fellow crafters here in Singapore ^_^. It is all because of TGF keep bring in a super duper cute new releases in their shops ^_^.

Since me and my friend so into it, i decided to play along and made a card with one of my oldies stamps ^_^. I have colored it a very long time ago but still i don't know what to do with it till today :)

I always like to colored TGF stamps with copic marker, somehow they are the perfect match :).

Penny Black : Gracias

Hello!!

It is very late night here but i really want to share a card i created yesterday :)

So i am still experiencing hot and rainy weather here in Singapore and i always hoping i could see a glimpse of rainbow somehow somewhere. Since up to now, i still have not seen any, so i have decided to brighten my day with coloring an image from Penny Black Mimi's Love.

The image is just perfect to display how the weather in Singapore. I need to bring umbrella all times because both weather need it ^_^. The sun can be super hot and i can feel the heat on my face so i need umbrella because i don't wear hat and of course I need umbrella during the rainy time ^_^.

The image was colored use distress markers and gansai tambi.

And here is the inside card. A simple thank you card which will brighten someone's day ^_^

Penny Black : Surprise Birthday

Good Evening!!

It is Friday! TGIF everyone...

I am still sick due to cough and headache but i feel bored keep sleeping on the bed. Besides i could not sleep with those nasty cough, so i decided to make a bright card and have fun while making it.

I am not expert at making fantastic watercolor background, but i keen to learn ^_^.

For my Today's card i am featuring One of my most favourite Penny Black stamp Buddy and Duck .

For the dog i colored it with water soluble crayons Caran d'ache neo color II, as for the background i used Gansai Tambi. I really love how vibrant it is :)

For the background, the stars was not perfectly laid because i thought it was dried when i layered the second mask :P. For the big stars, i used CC design mask, for the small stars, i used Simon says stamp mask.

The mini polaroid frame from Mama elephant.

And here is the inside card.

I stamped another dog image which come in the same stamp set and colored it with Gansai Tambi and Neo color II.

Penny Black : Shine it's your birthday

Good Morning!!!

A quick post before i do a bit of stuffs and head to my bed again :P.

Yesterday night I was having a tough "battle" with my cough and i literally could not sleep well. So now i am going to catch up some sleep before the virus attack me further.

But before i go to snooze island, i would like to share this card which i made recently. I will send this card for my lovely friend who just had birthday few days back :). She loves bunny, so i thought it would be a perfect card for her.

I used 2565J Spring Joy penny black stamp set as the main image and the fab pattern papers are from echo park. I think we are all in the spring mood right ?
