Yenni Paper Love

Hi Hi...

I have several Postcard that i want to share.I was inpired by the design of christmas card from last year Paper craft magazine. I am getting in love with this magazine! there are so many things that inspire me..from technique to layout. Unfortunately it is pretty hard to get this magazine in Singapore.

So just quick post..i wont give the details of the supplies because there are so many that i use.but if you want to know do let me know. i will help you on this...

Those cards also use for the newly open challenge blog--craft your days away ,a spoon full of sugar challenge 117 and caardvarks.The challenge is about your favourite things. And what is my favourite things??? i love to make anything about xmas!

Hi Everyone...

how are you? hope you are had a fun and busy crafting day last weekend.

My card for today is created for paper works co. This challenge is pretty special.IT comes on four parts and everyday is different challenges. The paperworkCo then will choose the best for each project of the day that end up to be shown in the blog for the people to vote for.

So me and my Chi Chi memories team which there are 4 persons will be doing different type of challenge.

My  other Chi Chi Memories DT team- Lorraine has comes up with a beautiful card. You can see her card at here.

For myself i will be doing colour combo which is Yellow,Green,Blue and Red.

It is pretty difficult for me because i rarely play with all primaries colours together

However i am still have to face it! so i came up with the idea tic tac toe! ^_^ and the main feature is fredie the elephant bandage

So here is my card for the challenge

Supplies use :

Chi Chi memories digi stamps- Always by Your side

Hero arts- everyday sentiments

Colour : Copic markers,Distress ink-scattered straw

Sticker : Doodlebug alpha sticker

Puncher :Martha stewart,EK Succes circle 1 3/8 "

Paper : American Crafrt cardstock

Others : Embossing powder-white, Pearl ribbon,Flowers,Ribbon,diamond glaze,versamark

What i like from this card is I created my very own pattern bandage ^_^

SO HOW TO MAKE THIS CUTIE PATTERN BANDAGE ?

You need digi  always by your side- fredie elephant  and the bandage all from Chi chi memories

FOR THE ELEPHANT PATTERNS

I use picasa to open fredie elephant image, make sure you shrink it to fit the page

Go to the printer set up find page set up ( Paper size :A4, Landscape)

Go to Page layout printing (16 page printing)

Click all the setting ok,it will send you back to the main page (picasa print page)

Look for print layout-Choose wallet setting

Look for copies per photo- this one you have to click alot ^_^ 16 pages x 9 images per page = 144 times

Once done-Print

You get the background paper

THE BANDAGE

Again i use picasa to open this image. Make sure it shrink to fit

Go to the printer set up find page set up (Paper size :A4,Portrait)

Go to page layout printing (2 page printing)

Click all the setting ok,will send you back to the main page

Look for print layour-choose wallet setting

Look for copies per photo-click 6 times-means 6 photos perpage

Once done-print

Voila you get your pattern bandage ^_^

Another details :

Punch circle 1 3/8 "

Stamped the sentiment use versamark and white emboss it.

Punch martha stewart border and paste it on the back of the circle to create border.

Distress the border use scattered straw

Affix ribbon on top of the circle and pearl on top of the ribbon

Applied glitter surround the circle for the finishing touch

Hi Hi Hi....

my today card is created for several challenges like my mojo monday,caardvarks ,a pocket full of posies  and gaal creative.I also want to submitt this card for sir stamp a lot..but i have just realized that i enter this challenge already.Hope this card will cool you down in this summer season..^_^

Well..if you see my past post..this will be one of the yule penguin that i coloured yesterday ^_^

So here is the supplies list :

Stamps : Inkadinkado-Christmas Tag Wishes, Stampendous-Yule Penguin

Colour and ink : Copic,versafine-onyx black and memento-tuxedo black,distress ink-tumble glass, versamark

Glue/dimension glue : diamond glaze and stickles-stardust

Tools : Puncher-martha stewart

Paper : Knco last year xmas paper pack and my minds eye,AC Cardstock

Others :embossing powder-white, ribbon,pearl ribbon

Lots of glitter going on there

I stamped randomly some of snowflakes image from the same stamp set use distress ink-tumbled glass. Once happy with the result i applied some stickles and placed some punched snowflake from the leftover punched border paper. Lastly place pearls on top of the punched snowflake paper.

Torn some paper to create layers for the main image "sit in". distress it with tumble glass and apllied glitter on top of it.

Following by i Placed the 2 penguins on top of the distress torn paper. For the finishing touch, i did applied diamon glaze on to the scarf and the hats.

The base background

The original pattern paper was actually plain and i dont like it. so i decided to stamped some snowflakes use versamark and white emboss it. On top of it i applied stickles and pearl for the finishing touch.

That is it for today...have a urgent project have to do by today...pretty late!! Oh No....

Yay...i have been busy with my newly stamps from ocotber afternoon (well it is new for me coz i just bought yesterday but actually this is 2009 xmas collection-yule penguins). I love this penguin so much and i feel like i must inked it as many as i can..so here 7 pairs of penguins waiting to be paste to the cards ^_^. Guess what colours that obviously not there??

The answer is Violet--^_^. i dont really like violet..lol.

So what is the reason why i go headache just because i colour those cutie penguins? it is because of the marker that i use...^_^..sadly to say copic markers make me headache because of the smell..however i still buy it till today. jus bought another 36 colours just because craft shop nearby give disc 15% which is rarely happen. so i have to grab the chance before the closing date.

Another good finding is below stamp:

I decided to bought this simple stamps set just because one reason..look at the little birdie on the top left..it is soooo cute and funny. when i saw that birdly my evil thought said this stamps suitable for those unfortunate event photos like i made mistake on something or fall down then the birdie laugh at me...lol. sorry hope you all wont get offended..i really simply love the birdie..lol

so back on what is in your workdesk wednesday..

here are the way i store my punches

One of my friend told me to try my best to store the punches in the drawer due to the weather condition in Singapore-Humid. So she mention that store in the drawer with the dessicant packs to absorb the "wetness".

Here is another drawer for my martha stewart collections..

ya ya..i am totally crazy..that is correct with capital C...lol. I also dont know since when this crazy things start...but i simply love their stamps..ans so far i only use about 70-80% of the collections that i have..OMG i guess i should punched more. Oh ya..talk about punched more..i have jsut injured my hand because of trying to safe some scrap papers by punched it for the future use.Haiz...the tought of  want to save money by save those paper goes to drain when i broke on of the puncher that i barely use! very angry..plus that one limited edition. however the puncher isnt from martha brand..it is from fiskar. probably i should leave a feedback to them. the handle is totally fragile. it made from plastic.when it broke i was use it to punch American Craft Cardstock which the gsm is pretty normal-not very thick! huh..so dissapointed!

Another drawer :

EK success is totally rock my wallet..lol. I do love EK Success brand and i believe their quality. however their collections as not fantastic as martha stewart eventhough martha under the same brand.It is applies to the qualities as well. i love the EK Success punches quality. it is always top! ^_^

Last drawer to share:

Random punches is inside this drawer...and I hate the look of the messy drawer.

:P

I promise this will be the last!

All the giant and frequent use punches are located outside for my convinient...(no wonder i gain weight- never move around much). maybe it is the time for me to do stand crafting...:P.

Hi...all..^_^

I have up till this late just created a card for few challenges that i love..

That will be penny black saturday challenge-on the beach!, Mojo monday,Penny Black All sort, and Sir Stamp A lot

And the best thing PB all sort having their DT call!!

I have been wondering it seems like last month and this month challenge almost the same--either summer or xmas in July..so end up i have pretty few summer cards with me...lol. but nevermind..i love the bright and "sunny" colours of summer.

Back to the card, here is the card for 4 challenges:

To create the circle border, i did cut several flower from prima marketing and paste it in alternate colour to create interesting colour combination.The left over cut petals i pasted it on the top and bottom left of the card ^_^.

The mice is coloured use copic markers. i love this two mouse hugging. it is so versatile. You can put sentiments like: hugs,thanks,thinking of you,best friend, loving you...and many more. For me hugs is show that you care or love ^_^. so i guess instead of everytime i use Regards on the bottom of my post..i better start to use hugs..include my email...lol

PENNY BLACK STAMPS

I will normally stamp the PB stamp on to the A4 paper based on their alpha series. Then write down the code on the side of the image. (sometimes when i am free i will flip through the catalogue to get some inspiration by probably combine few stamps for a card-Make use of my stamps ^_^)

HERO ARTS STAMPS

(i dont do record for the wooden for i dont have a lot. i love their clear stamps soo much so i have to record it) ^_^

Right tag : Stamped candy image use memento-red and applied stickles on it.

Stamped ginger breadman onto the brown cardstock & cut it follow the image

Use paper piercer to pierce the gingerman button. Place a star  brads on each pierced hole.

Stamped inkadinkado-christmas tag wished onto the same cardstock that use for the base with versafine ink-black. cut follow the image. affix all the part ^_^

Left Tag : coloured mistletoe leaves with brushable pen and stamped the image onto the AC cardstock

applied glitter onto the stamped image

the rest will be the same as above ^_^

pretty cute tags-as for me and very fast to do.

Hi All..just a short update...

This below card is created for Wee memories challenge-chipboard and colour throw down. this is my 2nd take ^_^

Coconut tree are actuall 2 die cuts from Knco-citronella collections. I did cut the trunk and use foam tape to the leaves to give dimension. For the trunk i did use hero arts stamp-wooden grain to give some pattern.

Coconut fruit- punched kraft paper and distress it

Chopboard : maya road i did "distress" with yellow mustard crackle paint. Before the paint dry i sprinkled scattered straw embossing powder

Sea- punched several pattern paper from KNCO Citronella collections use martha stewart puncher-loop

Sun : I stamped sun image from penny black onto the lemon die cut.

Sand : tear kraft paper and applied distress stickles-scattered straw
