07:39 1 Comments
Hello....It is saturday! yay!
I have been waiting for today to come because i really want to visit one of the craft stores which my friend sally from sugarbeacolours told me to go.
I would able to find my most favorite watercolor papers there rather than i purchase from amazon. Not to mentioned that the usd exchange rate so high plus the waiting time. I could not wait because i already run out of my favourite papers. Oh i forgot to mentioned, my favorite papers by far is strathmore watercolor papers. I have venture really many watercolor papers and found that this brand is the best i have ever tried.

Lets back to the card i am going to share today, shall we ?

Today i am making a shaped card and i selected hexagon shape this time. Well this card size is smaller that the square cards but sure this one jam packed of many details as you can see here.

I decided to have fun colouring magnolia tilda from 2014 waiting for christmas collections. I colored her with copics and adding slight depth with derwent inktense. that is because i am not very good at using copic markers :P.

As usual, beautiful flowers from wild orchird card and those leaves behind the flowers are cut used newest magnolia dies.
I stamp few postage circle around the edges and apply gold glitter glue on the oval edges.

And here is the inside card. Due to the shape, there are not much space to deco the inside.

Magnolia Stamp : Xmas (#9)

08:00 2 Comments
Oh Boy Oh Boy...it is time to make a christmas card with a boy image on it.
My friend requested one boy card out of the 25 cards that she orders.
So i decided to make a shaker card for the lucky fellow ^_^.

I played with Magnolia stamp Christmas Eve Edwin from 2013 Winter Wonderland collections and colored him with distress markers and zig markers. Playing a bit with chalks to color the background too. Places some trees from magnolia stamp on the left and right of the shaker card frame.

The pretty pattern papers that i used here from Lili of the valley. Truly unique Christmas color i would say. Though it is a boy card, i cant resist to add some laces on the card  ^_^.

Magnolia Stamp : Merry (#8)

08:00 4 Comments
Good Morning everyone. Really, christmas just few weeks away..and i still have not started making cards for my family and friends :P. I am still chasing card orders from my friends (25 cards ^_^), and i only made 11 cards so far. better be hurry....

So today is my 8th cards out of 25 cards that i made for my friends. ^_^
This time i decided to make round card, just to give a variations to the whole set of cards.
Pretty jam packed with decoration as it is smaller size than the square one.

I decided to color Tilda with apple wreath from 2014 waiting for Christmas collections with copic markers.  I really love the tilda hair in here. Believe it or not, it was created use copic markers that the inks almost finish. Every stroke that i made leave a thin brush line which is perfect . Since now i topped up the inks, i am not sure if i could do the same effects ^_^.

So i also played a lot with dies to create layers and dimension.

And here is the inside card.

Magnolia Stamp : A very Merry Christmas (#3)

08:54 14 Comments
Good Morning Good Morning.
Hope you are having a great day yesterday.
Today i am playing with my magnolia card and making a soft pastel card with it. As always soft pastel colour card is my forte ^_^.

For today's card, i decided to do a little twist with the card based and made a gate fold card.
The pretty pattern papers i used for this card is from Lili of the valley. Their papers are just stunning and they are having discount with free shipping from UK! time to grab some ladies. ^_^. I am still contemplating to buy or not to buy because i still have so many other brand pattern papers. But one side i have been using their papers in the set alot ^_^ especially those with pink one.Anyway let me mulling over one more day ^_^.

This cute image tilda from magnolia is colored with distress ink markers, it does not really show how pretty it is in real. Somehow photos always change slightly the actual card ^_^
You will also be seeing some of the similar trees for the next few cards because i mass colored it. Though it is mass colored but still it took me long enough to make it ready to use :P.

Here is the close up. Played a little bit with new dies from the doohickey dies club and also pretty flowers from wild orchird craft. They are also having sale!! OMG. how to save my wallet from all of this sales ....hahhaha
I also added liquid pearls surround the image and some clear sequins.

And here is the inside card.
