LOTV : Merry Christmas

10:28 0 Comments
Good Morning!!
I woke up quite late today because i am so tired because of yesterday exercise.
Everyday, i am aiming for at least 10,000 walks because that is the healthy range for active people which many articles said. Yesterday i went way beyond that, for the walks which recorded by my handphone hit about 10,000 plus. I also did badminton and 10 mins brisk walk use tread mill which never counted in my phone apps. So that is why today i am so shack :P.

But..good news, i still have some cards on hand to share with you, so here is my today's card.

I made a different type of card fold this time and it is really look pretty but it used up a lot of materials in the making compare to usual fold card. To create the cris cross card itself i need two 5" x 5" cardstock and one more cardstock for the insert. But well, all worth it, it looks so pretty here :)

Here are the supplies i used :
i used Snow Flurries image from LOTV and colored them with zig markers.
Flowers from wild orchird craft
NOEL word from papertrey ink
Snowflakes punched use martha stewart puncher
Leaves die cuts from magnolia dies
Scallop edges for the insert used la la land dies

And here it is when it pulled.

I hope you like what i shared today :)

Whimsy Stamp : JOY

08:00 0 Comments
Good Morning!
Here i am back with another card and this time i am featuring one of my latest favourite line from whimsy stamp. Previously i only set my eyes on the Sylvia Zet collections, but now it seems that more and more cute and lovely stamps design out from other designer. Like for today's card, this penguin stamps comes from Crissy Armstrong collections called Penguin Happy Mail.
Crissy collections features plenty of adorable critters and one that catch my eyes are the penguins series :) Go and check it out, they are all must have items.

So in here i made a very easy card fold which is Z fold card.

For the flowers, as always i use wild orchird crafts. The pattern papers from LOTV.
The word "JOY" cut use papertrey ink dies. The scroll die cuts behind the flowers used penny black dies

And here is the inside card. I keep them very simple with adhere a beautiful white lace.

I hope you like the card i made today.

Have a lovely day :)

Mama Elephant & Lawn Fawn : Merry Christmas from our home to yours

08:00 0 Comments
Good Morning!
It is a brand new day, hope you are all get a good rest.

Yesterday, despite a cloudy weather until evening, i managed to start my first step to the my goal to loose weight. Since it has been sometimes i never exercise and looking at my right hips and ankle pain which i told you yesterday, so i start myself  with a light exercise. I did a brisk walk about 30 mins. I did sweat quite a lot but i have not felt the "burning" sensation.
I red that once i start feel the " burning" sensation in my body means it start to burning my fats. :)
Anyway i am happy that i managed to encourage myself to keep on moving and exercise. Will let my body rest for a day and back to exercise again on wednesday. I hope the weather good.

Back to today's card. I managed to snug to my craft room and made a card yesterday.
So here it is :

I used both old stamps from mama elephant (mr and mrs santa, christmas tree) and lawn fawn (snowmans). This is not exactly my style but i did this after listen to my husband advice. He asked me to make quick and simple cards which meant for charity instead of complicated one. It saved my time and i still produce many quantities.

I hope you like the card i made today :)

See you again soon tomorrow with my new card.

Whimsy Stamp : NOEL

10:10 4 Comments

Good Morning!

It is another day in a week. I hope you will receive some peace in God presence, His peace and wisdom during your daily activities.

Today's weather is really cooling here in Singapore. We had a heavy rain in the early morning and now still drizzling. I love it but sadly i could not start my exercise program which is swimming. I scared catch a cold.
I have been putting on weight pretty drastically lately probably it is due to the hormon medicine i took before. So now i start feel my ankles and back pain. I also have to go to plus size shop if i want to buy clothes and i hate it! i used to size S and M and now to XXL :(. That is pretty devastating.
I am going to loose weight no matter what! I hope my body cooperate especially my rusty bones and joints.

Anyway back to card..I have made a window card this time round.
For today's card i am featuring SARAH fromWhimsy stamp as the focal point.
As usual it colored use distress inks on 300gsm watercolor paper. Cut them circle use spellbinder dies.

The super pretty NOEL from papertrey ink. I get this question a lot so i better keep mentioning when i use it :).

The super beautiful flowers are from wild orchird crafts. I am running out of stock for white colour flower, hmm maybe it is a good time to start listing down what i need :). Just incase woc has some promos.
The lovely purple mint papers from Lili Of the Valley. Sadly they are no longer selling this paper pads. I should have bought more, the purple and mint is so pastel and really darling.

Anyway i hope you like this card. I want to keep it simple because the main image is so pretty and i do not want other stuffs distract the main focal.

La La Land : Merry and Peace

22:40 0 Comments

Hello!!
I am so sorry for being a bad blogger! i have been away for very long time in this bloggie land but yet i am pretty active in instagram because that is the easiest platform for me to upload my cards without having me sit down in front of computer :).
My apologies for my absence here.
During my absence, I went back for more than 2 weeks to visit my dad who is still in hospital due to heart attack and other complications. He still in hospital up to now. But the good news is he is getting better and he will be discharged on Wednesday if everything well. He still has to take plenty of medication and fully rest at home.
Though i am far away from him now since i am back to Singapore, but unconsciously i have been thinking about him and my mum.

I also have been very often seeing different doctors for my unexpected health issue. It has cost me a lot of money to spend on my medical bills.

At first, my mojo crafting very low , but hey! I might able to earn some pocket money by selling those cards and crafting makes me feel better and this is the talent that God trust me to do so i should not be lazy. So here i am back on my feet and start to make more cards despite how lousy my feeling is. I must not dwell with my lousy mood because it just make me lazy and i do not want to be the one!
I hope you like my card which i will show in the next couple days.

For a starter, i have created a christmas card use La la land stamp.

I colored the main image with distress ink markers and zig markers and then fussy cut the main image.
I also use the recent Christmas pattern paper release from Echo park.
and here are the close up of the card.

Hope you like what i created today :)

Hello!!! Hoping everyone doing well!
I am down with bad flu for two weeks and still counting, especially with the bad weather like today in Singapore. Bad air quality from Haze has cause me worsen my flu and overall health. I am hoping to get well soon before i head back to my hometown next week.

Anyway, i have a brand new card today!! I think this probably my third christmas card i created this year and this would not be the last. I am trying to create as many as christmas cards this year. I am planning to sell some of them and some to give to friends and family. I want to learn to create a simple but cute christmas card so that it is easy for me or my buyer to send. But for today, a little bit layering on the card because that is my style :).

If you are my instagram follower, you should have seen this image before. I colored it during 30 days the daily markers. This stamp from discontinued stampavie penny johnson. The image very versatile, you can use it always for all seasons.

I colored the main image with distress markers and zig markers on 300gsm watercolor papers. Cut the oval shape use spellbinder dies. The beautiful flowers from very old Prima Marketing collections.

I love to add lots of little details on the card because i want every recipient, not see it just a second but many seconds :). Recently i love to add white dots on my main image to give a little bit of contrast and also give a bit of extra detail on it.
For the sentiment seasons greetings, i used Simon says stamp dies and cut it on silver cardstock. I also poured some coarse clear glitter on the oval edges, because i am all about blings and layers :).

And here is the inside card. I keep it simple because i want it stay flat and enough space to write message :).

As you like it challenge : I like Square shape card because it is basic and i have more space to play around than shaped card. Also i can fit the size the to standard envelope easily.

Stampavie : Alter Alpha

16:46 0 Comments
Good evening everyone!
Hope you enjoy your saturday.

I have such a lovely day here in Singapore. It is cooling and a little bit rainy here which kind of weather i prefer than sunny :).
So here is my latest creations and i think this will be the last batch of alter alpha i created for my friend.
This alpha will be a gift for her son who loves arsenal football club. I asked my husband who also a fan of arsenal, what should i do with her request.
He said made something with white red and a bit of black and of course a guy/boy who is playing football.
So i dig out my stamps and found this stampavie stamp and i decided this image would be the perfect one.

i colored the image with distress markers and tombow dual brush pens.
The background pattern paper from echo park which i am so happy that it fit perfectly to the theme.

And i used thickers papermarket special edition for her son name :)

I hope you like this simple project and i will see you very soon :)

The Greeting Farm : Alter Alpha with Hatter guy

15:09 2 Comments
Good Afternoon
Hope everything going well on your side.

I am doing well and still busy with  de stashing unused or no longer interested some of my craft supplies to my local friends. I am releasing it quite slow because most of it used once or never use so i feel dilemma and guilty to the max. I am more willing to sell those at least Used once better than never use at all. Anyway hope can raise some money and save it for rainy day or maybe discount day :P.

By the way, Since it is a nice weather here..it is a bit cloudy with a little thunder but still feel warm, I thought i am in the mood to sit down in front of computer and  share this project.

So i am making another alter alpha again!! i still have one more on the way.
Guy Project is always the challenging. Limited colors to choose, simplicity preferred and you know i can't use flowers and girly stuffs on it. So i decided, ok play the safest color, blue and grey.

For the main feature for this project, i used the greeting farm from Hatter collections. I colored this handsome guy used tombow dual brush pens and distress markers.

For the large star dies, i used sizzix dies and the scribble circle behind the guy used papertrey ink.

And here is the other part of the alphas.

Hope you like this simple project.
